Turyaa Kalutara

We were on our honeymoon and had specifically requested a double bed; however, we were provided with a bed made by combining two single beds, which was disappointing. When I asked the room boy,He said that this is the double bed they provide. The food quality did not meet expected standards and was not satisfactory. The food at the buffet was served cold, which affected the overall dining experience. The room appeared a bit old, and there were visible stains in the water closet, which affected our comfort. Overall, our experience was not satisfactory. However, the staff were friendly and courteous. Not worth for money.

Beautiful nature, powerful ocean, extremely friendly staff at Turyaa Hotel, Kalutara. Although the hotel needs renovation, the room is neat and clean with a nice view of the ocean. Thank you to our valet Thushan for the exceptional service.

My stay at this hotel was made truly special thanks to the excellent work of the room boy name Thushan. He was always friendly, professional, and extremely helpful, going above and beyond to assist with everything we needed. His positive attitude, dedication, and attention to detail are outstanding and reflect the highest level of hospitality. Thushan is a real asset to this hotel and deserves special recognition.

Turyaa was an amazing hotel to stay in while we were visiting Sri Lanka in December 2025. We had a beautiful ocean-facing room which was very spacious and comfortable. The Indian chef we met there, Balbir Singh, was extremely hospitable and even made chapatis for us since we were missing homemade food. He attended to us throughout our stay and made us feel like home. It was a very pleasant experience and I would definitely recommend others to choose Turyaa Hotel for their stay when visiting nearby. 5/5

We enjoyed our two night stay. Accommodation and resort clean and tidy. Great attention by staff. Rated as very good. Recommend.
