Hyatt Regency Bangkok Sukhumvit

I stayed at Hyatt Regency Sukhumvit as my first stop for my retirement travel. I booked my stay here based on its high review, but was initially surprised that the room and the hallways were more dated than I expected. Having said that, the service at the lounge more than mafe up for it. Since my husband is a Hyatt Globalist, I have experienced number of lounges around the World, including ones in Paris, Amsterdam, and all around the States. By far, I had the best service at the lounge than any I experienced in any Hyatt lounges around the World. I want to give extra shout out to Dew, an attendant at the Club Lounge, who was wonderful.

Very good hotel with excellent breakfast. The rooms were spacious and clean and staff were very helpful. Only concern was the location of the hotel

The hotel location is very good and was very convenient, staff service was excellent, one of the best breakfast offerings and the room is very nice and spacious.

I recently stayed at the Hyatt Regency Bangkok Sukhumvit for a week in February during Chinese New Year. Before that, I spent over a month there from late November through Christmas and the New Year 2026. This hotel truly feels like a second home to me. When I returned in February, I was greeted with hugs from the staff, which meant a lot to me. It felt less like a typical check-in and more like coming back to family. Such warmth, consistency, and genuine care are rare to find. I would especially like to recognize Nut, Golf, Chef Art, Bee, Nana, Mink, View, Milk, Ploy, Palm, Pink, and Bowie. Each of them went above and beyond to ensure my stay was comfortable, personal, and memorable. From the front desk reception team to the restaurant and service staff, everyone consistently demonstrated kindness, professionalism, and attention to detail. I wish I could remember every single name because the entire front desk team deserves recognition. During my stays over the holidays and then again during Chinese New Year, I experienced the hotel at very busy times, yet the service never wavered. The hospitality remained warm, attentive, and heartfelt. Thank you for making Bangkok feel like home. I will definitely be back again. PS: I also absolutely love how the team changes their outfits to match different occasions and holidays. It adds such a special touch and shows how much pride they take in creating an experience, not just a stay. The hotel’s decorations during Christmas, New Year, and Chinese New Year were beautiful and festive, truly enhancing the atmosphere and making each visit feel unique.

Hyatt Regency Bangkok is great, but expensive compared to local options. HR is located right in the middle of everything, near the touristy stuff, markets, malls, and the metro. Reception, the room, and the club lounge were all great. The club lounge is really where this place delivers. Hooray for Globalists!!! The food at the lounge for breakfast and dinner/afternoon was really amazing - most of whatever you wanted cooked to order. High quality fruits and vegetables (this was the most salad I ate my entire trip) and a full bar. Excellent quality espresso drinks. Very good service. The only reason it's not 5/5 stars is because this is SE Asia, and for the same cash price you pay here, you can probably get a more luxurious stay at a local option.
