Barceló Coconut Island Phuket

We had the most amazing honeymoon and couldn’t have asked for more! Our villa was beautiful, the food was delicious, and we were so lucky with the weather for the time of year. A special mention to NA and Carl, who were both absolutely lovely, caring and went above and beyond to make our stay extra special. Their kindness and helpfulness really made a difference. Thank you for helping make our honeymoon so memorable! We would love to return one day.

Great location. Lovely staff. Very helpful when there was a very small issue in our room, went above and beyond to check all was okay afterwards.

Beautiful area, but not living up to it's potential. The pool and beach are nice, there are no lifeguards present. There are 2 slides where our kids enjoyed their time, but again no lifeguard or anyone keeping an eye for safe operation. We stayed in a 2 bedroom villa, that was amazing. Comfortable rooms, amazing size and a small private pool. The bathrooms are roomy as well. We booked bed and breakfast, the breakfast was nothing special but decent for the price. For lunch and dinner you can order a la carte. Now the part that bothered us the most, the service, the staff is not very efficient in realizing who just sat down and would like to have a menu, the service is slow and workers look uninterested. The variety of the menu is quiet limited and after 2 days you are bored with it. The quality of the food is the second thing that makes you wondering why the prices (compared to other restaurants in Thailand) have to be so high, portions are limited and not always hot. It is a nice island but it takes quiet some time to take the boat and a taxi to a decent area for some different food, especially if you are traveling with kids. (They informed us there was a kids menu after eating in the restaurant for 3 days). If those things would be improved it would be an amazing stay.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Barceló Coconut Island Resort! From the moment we arrived, The service was exceptional. Every member of the team was friendly, welcoming, and always greeted us with a smile. The resort itself is beautiful, peaceful, and surrounded by stunning scenery—truly the perfect place to relax. During our first night, we experienced an issue with the air-conditioning noise in our room, which made it difficult to sleep. We informed the team, and Resort Manager Mr. Hasan immediately stepped in. He handled the situation professionally and efficiently, moving us to a much better room without hesitation. Thanks to his quick response and excellent customer service, we enjoyed peaceful, restful nights for the remainder of our stay. A big thank you to Mr. Hasan and the entire team for going above and beyond to ensure we had a memorable holiday. It’s this level of care and hospitality that makes a resort stand out.
