Kamala Beach Resort (a sunprime Resort)

The hotel is in a wonderful location right next to a beautiful beach, which makes the stay truly special. The large, spacious, and very comfortable beds are a big highlight and ensure excellent rest. The hotel service deserves special recognition for being professional and attentive. The breakfasts are very good, and the Thai Mojito served at the bar is the best drink we had during our stay. The massages are absolutely amazing. Everything is complemented by an incredible location and a perfect atmosphere for relaxation.

On my last day of a 12-day holiday here at Sunprime Kamala Beach. This is my second time here and it is truly relaxing. There are four swimming pools, all beautifully landscaped, and a real bonus if you don’t like kids running around, as it’s adults-only. I have no hesitation in booking again, (and book directly it’s cheaper) as I know exactly what I’m getting. The rooms are perhaps a little tired for £200 a night, and the on-site food isn’t the best, but there is an abundance of excellent eateries just two minutes away. While there are many positives, I would balance this by saying there doesn’t seem to be enough interaction from management, as I’ve never seen anyone stop to chat and ask where they could improve. All in all, though, a great stay.

We stayed at the Sunprime Kamala Beach Hotel from 16th October for 16 nights and could not fault our Superior Pool View Room which included a Safe, Sofa a Large Refrigerator with Freezer compartment, Iron 2 bottles of water daily. The resort is situated right on the lovely Kamala beach - step out of the hotel grounds and you're on the beachfront walkway. Plenty to choices for breakfast you will definitely start off your day on a a full stomach. There are 4 large Pools around the ground with plenty of room and lots of sunbeds. You can't reserve beds until after 10am. I would like to give a huge Thank You to all the staff - from the Housekeeping to Groundsmen, to Bar Attendants and Reception, everyone was so polite and accommodating to our wishes. We loved our stay so much that we are booked in for another stay in April. We are counting down the days.

Very friendly people and good food. Lovely place. Highly recommended. The hotel was just next to the beach, where we spent most of our time. Take a seat and enjoy your day with Pina Colada in drink bar by the sea. Cheers !

I visited sun prime Kamala Beach in June this year as a solo traveller and had a wonderful time.  The location of the hotel is superb on a beautiful white sandy beach with restaurants and shops nearby. My room was clean, spacious and comfortable. I was given a room which was very suitable for my needs and I really appreciated that.   One small suggestion would be to have a little card in the room with the name of the regular housekeeping attendant.  I always like to tip the housekeeping staff however I regret that I may have tipped the wrong housekeeper as one lady was knocking the door on departure day with a big smile and no apparent reason!  Staff gave great service at the hotel and they were always efficient and they looked happy. I chose  Sunprime Kamala because of its location but also because it is for adults only.  I particularly liked there being designated areas around the hotel for smoking. As a non-smoker I personally found this perfect and for the smokers the designated areas became a social hub where they could meet each other and talk.  I had dinner in the hotel many times and the food was always hot and tasty.  I used many local restaurants too.  I loved the live music at The Restaurant By The Sea and I came home with a heart full of happy memories.  I will return.
