Katathani Phuket Beach Resort

We came here for a friend's wedding and a family holiday - 2 adults, 1 child and an infant (3 years old). They have everything you could possibly need here and more. It is a resort where you can come to relax, enjoy the sun, enjoy a different culture, have fun and swim all day. If you wanted to stay in the resort the whole time, then you definitely could! You can also arrange tours easily as well as explore the city by yourself. The wedding itself was beautiful and enjoyed by all who attended. What a place to say I do! The photos are amazing and the memories unforgettable. The food served is delicious and there is food for all tastes. They have Thai dishes on the menu, too, which are a must-try. The breakfast buffet has something for everyone, from fruit, to baked beans, to chicken nuggets, pastries, noodles and stir fry, poached eggs and so on. It is an endless array of options. If you stay in Buri wing, you will enjoy the most beautiful view over Kata beach as you have breakfast, too! The rooms are comfortable and feel like home very quickly. We stayed in a grand deluxe room with 2 sleeping spaces, a bathroom with shower cubicle and bathtub (both spacious). There is a mini fridge with small freezer compartment, kettle, complementary water and ice, tea bags, sugar and sachets of coffee. We also spent time at Vhari wing, which is a must if you have kids. There are different pools with water park style areas, a deeper pool, a wave pool and more. The food is also more kid oriented for families with kids. There are lots of options for adults, but kids are definitely catered for here. We were here for both Easter Sunday and Songkran (Thai New Year) and both put on fun-filled activities for all the children. Songkran in particular is such a fun celebration with water guns being used not just by kids, but also staff! They all get in on the fun and it is so lovely to see them all playing along with the kids - water fights aplenty! If you have the chance to visit during Songkran, then I recommend you come then. The staff have been amazing - so helpful, kind and welcoming. Everyone has been so friendly to the kids and we have felt very at home here because of this. Any issues or questions were dealt with quickly and efficiently. I did a pilates class here, which was great. Friends have also had massages and manicures here, my children had their hair braided and everything has been very positive. The spa treatments and some activities are an extra cost, but there are plenty of free activities on Monday to Sunday (including pilates). I don't really have a bad word about anything. Our experience has been extremely positive. April is hot here and seems to be a great time to visit. A fantastic place for families. Excellent hotel from checking in to checking out. Our room was kept clean & comfortable. Breakfast was lovely with plenty of choice all areas kept really clean. Relaxed by adult pool & received Excellent service from all staff especially Thai who made a lovely tasty iced-coffee. Restaurants we used were all good with great presented food and very tasty all had great staff serving our favourite was Chanadda. Every member of staff working in the hotel were so friendly & kind. We will highly recommend your hotel to friends

Katathani resort has a lovely feel, and everything you need! The food is all amazing! And staff are fabulous & polite. The grounds are kept immaculate and the rooms are of a good size, and with daily cleaning and fresh towels! You could just holiday at the resort and not leave it’s that good!

The resort has 3 wings Thani Bhuri Vhari The resort is really huge and located on the south of Phuket, named Kata beach. These three wing are separated by a road, Thani on the beach side, Bhuri and Vhari on the other side which you are able to use facilities in other wings. Each wing has different amenities as well as pools: Thani has a new fitness center with different bars and restaurants which is mainly suitable for couples. Bhuri has a small water park, a self-service laundry, billiard, pink pong, table football, computer games, air hockey, garden message and a small fitness center, kids club, pool-acceess rooms. Vhari is the new wing with water slides, two water park for different ages, lazy river, pool access rooms, etc. I think this wing is better for family with kids. At the end of March, a new huge kids club were there which seems to be opened in next month. Thani and Vhari are close to each other but from Bhuri to Vhari you may need to use gulf carts provided by the hotel. The resort has a great access to beach. The beach belongs to resort but you should pay 200 but informally to a man to use sunbeds. The breakfast of each wings is in different restaurants which you can use other restaurants for you breakfast one time in your stay. At check-in you will have an application to get familiar with resort and ask questions or register your requests. Reserve and Enjoy!
