Not really into huge resorts but this place is definitely worth a B look at if you are with children. Water parks, lots of different pools to choose from - there is literally something for everyone. Rooms are spacious, air conditioned and a large red bed for amazing sleep quality. Breakfast options are vast. Simply put this is a child friendly high quality resort that ticks all boxes at a reasonable price.

After coming here for 20 years the hotel continues to give us all we need during our break. The staff are always there with big smiles ensuring things are done to perfection. The events provided for returning “family” members are appreciated by all. This trip the hotel amazed us all by putting on the most beautiful surprise 60th Wedding Anniversary party for 2 guests. It’s just what they do to make you feel at home.

Our experience at the Katathani Beach Resort was excellent. We had a lovely quiet garden view room that was lovely and the food options were great. Our best impressions though were of the outstanding friendly service of all of the Katathani staff as they were so lovely and gracious. We would like to make special mention of a few who were particularly impressive. Leo at Reception made us feel very welcome and he worked so hard to explain the hotel amenities to us and to assist with any other needs we had. Mo in the Chom Talay Restaurant welcomed us each night we dined there and made us feel very special with his big smile and professionalism. Pam in the Fishermans Wharf Restaurant was so knowledgeable of the menu and was cheerful and very funny. Our dinner in the Chanada Restaurant was made memorable by our waitress Bon who was so gracious and kind and could speak so knowingly to the food options and the important Thai heritage of the dishes; her service was impeccable. Sprite at the Seacret breakfast restaurant met us each day with a smile and always looked after us with such genuine care. All of these staff members (amongst many others) are a credit to the Katathani business and deserve recognition. However, our biggest thanks and applause must go Pinkky and Noonick our daily room service ladies in the Bhuri Wing. It was such a pleasure to return to our rooms each day to find them beautifully made up with lovely personal touches made by these special ladies. At all times they were incredibly friendly and hard working and always greeted us with a beautiful smile. They were polite, gracious and quick to share a laugh whilst working so hard. Pinkky and Nooonick will remain our fondest memory of our stay at Katathani Beach Resort. Thanks to you both. I hope that senior management at the Katathani Resort can recognise such outstanding service from these ladies and all of the staff noted by name above. They made our holiday so worthwhile. There’s something for everyone at Katathani, great for families and couples alike. The facilities are fantastic and the choice of restaurants is incredible. The spotless public beach is also a bonus, although you will have to pay a small fee for loungers.
