My girlfriend and I stayed here for three nights, and it turned out to be one of the best hotel experiences we’ve had so far. The rooms are beautiful and located right next to a large pool, which creates a really relaxing atmosphere throughout the stay. The hotel offers several dining options, including a beachfront restaurant where you can enjoy food and drinks right by the ocean — something we really appreciated. The quality of the food was outstanding, and the surf and turf (lobster and steak) was definitely a highlight. The staff were all very friendly, spoke great English, and made everything easy and comfortable for us. This place will always mean something special to us, as it’s where I proposed. The team helped me arrange a romantic dinner setup on the beach, and they executed it perfectly. A special thank you to CJ and Jhoy for their service that evening — they truly helped make the moment unforgettable. We would absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a memorable stay 🫶🏽

My partner and I stayed at this hotel for three nights, and it is one of the best hotels we have ever visited. You stay in a really lovely room right by a large pool, and they have three great restaurants, one of which is located right on the beach, so you can relax by the water while ordering food and drinks. The food was absolutely amazing — their “surf and turf,” which includes lobster and a large steak, is highly recommended. The entire hotel staff speaks excellent English and is very easy to communicate with. This place will always be especially meaningful for my partner and me, as it is where he proposed to me. He planned the proposal together with the staff, who arranged a wonderfully cozy and romantic dinner for us on the beach. They did an incredible job, and we are especially grateful to CJ and Jhoy, who served us that evening and helped make everything absolutely perfect, it wouldn't had been the same without them. We highly recommend this hotel!

Amazing experience. The staff were extremely friendly, smiley and nothing was too much effort. The Thai kickboxing was the biggest highlight! AOD - the instructor clearly loves his job and he’s super passionate. Highly recommend anyone to go to one of his classes! Whether you’re a complete beginner or pro fighter.

Once again, we have visited the fantastic La Vela, which offers everything we could wish for in a vacation! The hotel is perfectly located for enjoying everything Bang Niang has to offer, yet many days we don’t even leave the hotel. Here, you experience the charming Thai hospitality, with ever-present warm smiles combined with great food, drinks, and sunsets that quite literally take your breath away. The rooms have everything you could possibly want and more, and at breakfast there is always something new to discover. The highlight is not only the wide selection, but also that everything tastes amazing — with an extra special bonus for the in-house bakery! A fantastic vacation wouldn’t be complete without first-class service, so I would like to mention a few people — at the risk of forgetting someone — who made this trip a 5+ experience once again this year! Sarah, the restaurant manager, welcomes you with a warmth that makes you feel like you own the place! Aya, who has a role specially tailored just for her and works with promoting La Flora Group, makes you look forward to the next time you get the chance to talk to her! Joy and Coco, who provide the entertainment, sing and play as if you’ve just queued up your favorite clip on YouTube! Meed and Jee, who craft cocktails in the various bars! The sister hotel La Flora, about 250 meters away, is also well worth a visit, with a fantastic location for their restaurant Sire. There, you’ll do yourself a great favor by asking M (yes, that’s his name) for whatever drink or cocktail you wish — and you’ll leave with the biggest smile there as well. I have been coming to Thailand for over 25 years with my family. We have stayed at many different resorts. La Vela definitely stood out . The room was absolutely beautiful and spotless, the resort was clean , vibrant and most importantly were the staff. As per Thai culture the people are just beautiful. The staff at La Vela always went above and beyond. Every single staff member always said hello and always had a smile on their face. The front end staff always had a smile and you could have a laugh with them. The resort is in a prime location and there are many restaurants, massage places and Biang Niang Market is only a short stroll up the road as well as the Tsunami Museum. The breakfast and dinner at the resort was outstanding and the massages were on another level again. I strongly recommend this resort and will definitely stay here again.
