La Vela Khao Lak

We loved our stay at La Vela, fabulous hotel in a great location. All the staff were so helpful and friendly, the food was amazing - a huge selection for breakfast, and we had many meals at Kokolu Beach Club which were all superb. This was our first trip to KHAOLAK and we were relieved we’d chosen this hotel. We would definitely book again!

Recently booked a holiday through a travel agent who recommended a stay at La vela when we were looking to visit khao lak. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the sea view room we booked was spacious with a seated area balcony and outside bath. There are palm tree’s so you will not get a sea view. Staff in the restaurant was very friendly and helpful and really enjoyed the pizza at lunchtime. What we weee not made aware of was the amount of steps you have to endure, such as going for breakfast or walking through to the beach. You can walk into the centre of khao lak in about 10 to 15 mins with plenty of places to eat and drink.

This is a very luxurious hotel with a beautiful beach area and no shortage of sunbeds. The pool area was huge, and our rooms were very spacious with a good view over the pool. There was a huge breakfast selection with daily specials, so you wouldn’t get bored if you’re staying for quite a while. The staff are really friendly and I’d like to give a special mention to Alex, who came to the rescue when our transport to the airport was late. Definitely this is a lovely place to stay.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at La Vela, fantastic amenities, lovely swimming pools, plenty of sunbeds, in the sun or shade, we had a Seaview Room which was lovely very big and great views. We ended up having to stay an extra 5 days because of the trouble in the middle east, they were brilliant in accommodating us, even if we couldn't keep the same room. The hotel is very modern and being right on the beach, there were some lovely sunsets. The staff at the hotel are really great, very friendly and welcoming, they were very polite. A special thanks to Jhane in reception who was very helpful especially when we needed to sort out our extra stay and speak to our travel agents, she went above and beyond, also Alex the customer relations manager who was always checking we were okay and everything was sorted for us. We will definitely be coming back for another stay and would certainly recommend La Vela

Could not recommend this hotel enough. Breakfast was elite, very modern, clean, gorgeous beach and pools. Rooms were stunning. The staff couldn’t be friendlier or more helpful. A special shout out to Alex who went above and beyond to help us when our transfer didn’t turn up (not booked through the hotel). We have zero negative comments and would 100% come again
