Moracea by Khao Lak Resort

We had a brief 2 night stay here and wished it was for longer. Check in was easy, with welcome drink. The swim up room was beautiful, great WiFi, free water, free safe, great air conditioning, comfy bed and great shower/bath. The hotel is spread out but you can ask for transport to your room or the lobby, so on our final day they arrived on time to take us and our cases to the lobby. Food was good (we only had breakfast) and the beach is awesome. Sun chairs and parasols were plentiful. This resort is also close to the busy town with bars and restaurants and shops, just 50BhT per person by taxi. Drinks are pricey but just go into town for cocktails at 99BhT. Would love to stay again.

Moracea Resort, our hotel is set on the beach, quite a few steps for anyone with mobility issues but well worth the effort. It is truly beautiful, the grounds and beach are amazing. Our room with en-suite is beautiful, lovely shower, very comfortable bed and pillows fridge in our room and 3 bottles of water delivered daily. We booked B&B so we could get out and explore. The days we’ve stayed in the resort and eaten in both restaurants we have been thoroughly spoilt. I’m celiac and all my meals have been cooked separately for me and delicious including for the international buffet. Big thank you’s to the chef’s here they have prepared me the most delicious meals. A big thank you to Mr SAE who has helped me order meals and also ICE the young man who has looked after us too. All the staff here are a credit to this beautiful resort. We have loved our stay here and would definitely want to come back here. Eating out tut tuts are outside on the main road never waited more than 5 mins. All our trips out exploring was with Penny & Oat music taxi look them up on Facebook. They gave us amazing experiences on their well organised trips including again Gluten free meals for me. I can’t thank them enough. A really lovely family run business.

The service was truly exceptional — a perfect 11/10. Every member of the staff was attentive, professional, and genuinely warm, always greeting us with a smile and offering assistance throughout our stay. The room was beautifully maintained and extremely comfortable, ensuring a restful night’s sleep. The location is outstanding, offering breathtaking sea views in a serene and uncrowded setting. Breakfast was impressive, with a wide selection of both Thai and international cuisine. The resort features multiple swimming pools, allowing guests to relax comfortably without feeling crowded. A variety of daily activities are also available, adding thoughtful touches to an already memorable stay. Overall, this resort is an ideal destination for those seeking a refined and truly relaxing retreat.

This is our second year returning to Moracea, and we couldn't have been happier. Walking back into this serene ocean, and hillside paradise resort felt like home. We have stayed in many of Moracea's lovely rooms, but our oceanside villa this time was an absolute dream. Spacious, private patio, with exceptional views of the Andaman Sea. Mr. Sun, the amazing front of house manager of Moracea, is the true gem of the establishment, seamlessly caring to all of our needs with genuine care. His thoughtful attention from the moment we arrive, always makes us feel very looked after. The entire staff is warm and eager to accomodate. Amazing breakfast spread, thai food, tropical drinks. Very beautiful grounds and pools looking over the sea, make it a resort that you never need to leave. We loved our lazy ocean days and sunset strolls. The resort offers private beaches and true tropical paradise. Do not hesitate to book this hotel every time you visit Khao Lak! Much Love, Aishah and Andy Patton

Very nice place for vacation. The rooms Hibiscus are spacy with 50 sqm. The staff is extremly friendly and helpful. Special thanks to: Nat, Max, Kevin, Tex , Bee and BeeBee for their great service. The food is excellent. The sandy beach is clean and without shells, corals and stones. We will come back
