Ramada Resort by Wyndham Khao Lak

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Ramada resort. Hotel was on the quiet side when we stayed but this just helped towards a relaxing atmosphere. Room was clean and a good size, pool area never crowded and sunbeds were always available, and the same for the beach which the hotel is situated directly upon. We stayed full board so used Sassi’s (the on site restaurant) very frequently. The food here was always good quality, one of our party is vegetarian and they found it a little limited towards the end/10 days into the holiday, but otherwise plentiful selection. Our children appreciated table tennis, pool and some of the other games around the hotel, and it was great to experience Songkran whilst we were there. The staff could not be more friendly and willing to help, in particular the restaurant staff and many thanks to Pop from Sassi’s who always made sure we were well looked after. The hotel is quiet on an evening but there is plenty going on in the surrounding area, but overall a perfect location for a relaxing break in Khao Lak, and very pleased we chose this for our first ever trip to Thailand. I had a very disappointing experience at this hotel. What shocked me the most was the clear difference in how guests are treated. During my stay, my towel was moved from a front-row position other guests while we were havingbreakfast, without any communication or respect. It was simply taken and placed elsewhere, as if my presence did not matter. What made the situation worse was the impression that certain guests, particularly guests from a specific country, were allowed to behave as they wished, while others were treated as second-class. This created a very uncomfortable and unfair atmosphere. Hospitality should be about respect and equal treatment for all guests, regardless of nationality. Unfortunately, this was not my experience here. I hope management takes this seriously and ensures that all guests are treated with the same level of respect in the future.

Came back after 12 years for our 3rd stay still as amazing as ever pool staff so good brilliant Will definitely be back very accessible to the town breakfast was very good

We had a great stay, the staff were very accommodating and friendly. We had an issue with our room and they moved us straight away. Happy hour was great value the food was excellent at the breakfast and snack/restaurant. Would definitely again

Location, Atmosphere, Rooms, and services were fantastic and we enjoyed our stay there. I highly recommend this hotel to whom looking for a relaxing place.
