Ramada Resort by Wyndham Khao Lak

Did not enjoy our stay at Ramada. Didn't feel child friendly, felt like a grumpy retirement village. Price point not on par for the quality. We were told our inclusions were not valid first night & were only honoured when we pressed further. Pool bar lacked any vibe, music was terrible or MIA. Package included 1 hour of free flow drinks however you felt like an inconvenient free loader. They hold your beer bucket behind the bar & make you drink from plastic. Frustrating pool towel system - suppose to replenish in your room however dont/leave enough and when you ask reception, they tell you to wait in your room. Kids menu very western based & when we asked to get a kids pad thai we were told no. Food overall was terrible, ended up ordering a pad thai and it was inedible, worst I have ever had. Staff aren't very friendly but based on the majority of clientele, I dont blame them. Management seem to spend more time responding to reviews, rather than ensuring guest experiences in real time.

I will highly recommend Ramada, Khao Lak to everybody, for many reasons. Khao Lak is a much better destination compared with Phuket, Hua Hin and others. It's more calm, less traffic, but still there is a great varity of restaurants and shops. The Ramada hotel is close to the center, but in a distance where you are not disturbed by the city noise. Directly on the beach. There hotel has a very high standard, high service level - everybody is smiling to you and offering their assistance. The managent is very visuable, asking you every time, if everything is allright ! - and it is.... Wonderfull breakfast, the full menu of eggs, a nice varity of thai fruits and all the "normal" things... This time we often took our lunch at the hotel restaurant. Just as cheap as outside the hotel, and more convinient to stay on the beach area. The pool bar has the "happy hou" with a very nice mood due to the proff staff. We expect to come back. Thanks to Peter, Joe and all the staff bye the way - the staff were all very good english speaking.

We stayed at the Ramada for 14 nights, the hotel is very clean and has just over 100 rooms which means it could be considered small and friendly compared to some of the other hotels in the area. Located on the sandy beach and sunbeds with parasols are plentiful without the stress of worrying whether or not there will be any available, in our experience it made a pleasant change and assisted in a very relaxing vacation throughout. Every single staff member was polite and friendly at all times. We stayed on a bed & breakfast status due to the fact that local restaurants are plentiful and finding somewhere to eat is certainly not a problem at all. If you stay at the Ramada you certainly won’t be disappointed.

I had an amazing stay in Ramada! The rooms were absolutely perfect—spacious, clean, and incredibly comfortable. The service was top-notch, always friendly and helpful. The location is excellent. The breakfast was rich and everything was tasty. Highly recommend! 💯😊

We had the most amazing stay here. The hotel is immaculate, with very helpful staff who couldn't do enough for you. Our room was one of the best rooms we have ever stayed in with a jacuzzi bath, comfortable bed and shaded balcony area. Location great as well, close to local bars & restaurants. Would highly recommend.
