Rawai Palm Beach Resort

Just finishing 2 weeks at Rawai Palm Beach as a family of 4 plus grandparent and it has been amazing!! Rawai is absolutely stunning, safe, clean, fabulous food - feels upmarket here. The hotel is in the best location and is an ideal base. It is clean, relaxing, the pool is fantastic, the staff are friendly and helpful. Rooms are spacious and cleaned really well daily. Breakfast is good - it isn’t 5* but it is fresh and does the job. We would love to return and can’t recommend enough.

A great location for a nice quiet resort. A taxi ride to more lively parts of Thailand didn't cost much at all. The transport to the 2 beaches Yanui and Nai Harn were great. But get there early as sometimes they need to make multiple trips. Located near to lovely restaurants and plenty of 7 11s nearby. The pool was lovely the cleanest pool I've ever seen. The hotel is lovely and clean with nice grounds and lovely staff but there were many times where we couldn't get sunbeds by the pool (far too little for the number of rooms at the hotel) The breakfast was fine always something to eat but the bacon was not to our taste. The rooms are nice and spacious but the towels and shower were disappointing. The pool/beach towels always smelt a little musty and the shower would change from hot to cold and turn itself off and on regularly during ever use. Also no microwave in our room as mentioned on the website. (Not that we needed it) The hotel was good value for money and the staff are welcoming and the effort they go to for Christmas was incredible. They had big Christmas eve and New Years eve events. All in all a great hotel for families.

We checked in nice and early nice large room and a beer fridge topped up daily and then charged at the end of your stay the hotel does free daily trips to the local beaches you. Are within walking distances for the local pubs eateries etc but not a lot of night life as what out of season and in my opinion a quiet ish resort but we caught a cab to patong used the hotel taxi to start of before finding an app called grab you will save oodles of cash the hotel does offer a selection of trips always haggle for a good deal

Upon reading the negative reviews of this hotel, we were quite nervous about our stay. However, we were really pleasantly surprised with our stay. The hotel itself is beautifully decorated, and our room was cleaned daily. We loved sunbathing by the pool, and we used the gym regularly (although, it could really do with some air conditioning!!). The hotel also offers free shuttle buses to and from two local beaches, which was really convenient. Breakfast was delicious and varied. I recommend avoiding breakfast between 9am-10am, as it was very busy! We also ordered lunch and drinks from the poolbar regularly, as it was cheaper than many local restaurants. The location of the hotel is great. It’s within walking distance to a strip of bars, restaurants, shops, 7/11. We recommend going to the restaurants which are tucked away on the sea front for the best prices! Overall, it was a really lovely stay.

Not as expected , room is not as booked , ground floor , no privacy, everyone walking past your window . Hard wooden chairs to sit in , dirty sheets ! Easy access to pool . Location is dreadful
