Family place, we mostly went because of Nostalgia even if our kids are not teenagers :-p Helpful employees, very good location right by the beach. Different pools for smaller and bigger kids. Rooms were clean and nice, restaurant was satisfactory for our need, for lunch and dinner

Great hotel, absolutely worth its price. We've been staying here many times, all the staff is very supportive and friendly. Huge appreciation to Ms Rachel who is always helping us to book a room and gives a nice upgrade. Breakfast is very rich and diverse, good coffee, nice choice of fruits. Gluten free food, dairy free porridge, and vegetarian meals available. You can enjoy lunch and dinner, and children can eat for free if adults order. A nice choice of healthy children's meals different from fast food. Rooms are bigger than an average around, always very clean and nicely equipped with a small kitchen. The location is perfect, directly on the white sand beach, one of the best in Phuket, but still very quiet and family friendly. There are many local restaurants and a few beach clubs around. There are 6 swimming pools, a kid's clud and a teens lounge, so children have enough entertainment during the day. Every night there is a show with the beloved Lolo and Bernie, and a night show with great singers. It's easy to reach shopping center Porto de Phuket where you find a supermarket with international options, lots of international restaurants and shops. Tops is cross the road as well as a new big pharmacy. We will definitely come back.

We stayed at Sunwing Bangtao Beach recently and had a mixed experience. On the positive side, the room was very nice and always kept clean, and the breakfast was really good with plenty to choose from. All the staff we met were friendly and helpful, and the location is great with a beautiful beach right outside. For us, the downside was the noise in the evenings. We could hear quite a bit from the rooms around and above, so it wasn’t as peaceful as we had hoped. We also realized that the hotel was larger and busier than what suits our style. That’s really on us — we should have checked better beforehand — because it’s clearly a very good hotel for families. So, while it didn’t fully match what we personally look for, we still appreciated the service, the staff, and the great beachfront location.

A terrible experience, we stayed at the hotel in early November 2025. The hotel itself is beautiful, and the staff are very friendly and kind. Special thanks to Tong. The big problem is that the property is surrounded by a large open sewer, which discharges directly next to the hotel on the beach. Just one swim in the sea was enough to make me feel terrible and have to seek treatment at the on-site medical center. You can all see what I'm describing on Google Maps. Be very careful. Never again.
