Sunwing Bangtao Beach

Nice hotel, amazing ‘jungle’ tree right across The lobby. You wish you were a monkey or a bird and sit in that tree. Right next to The Andaman sea. Amazing view. We have a family room with 2 spacious rooms. Except… 1 of the children’s bed is in The master bedroom. We were to jetlagged to say something about it, but why bother with separate rooms if your child sleeps in your room? Bit weird. Breakfast is ok. Everything is Nice but I feel like a 4 star hotel should Maybe have a little more variety. Still Nice and everything tastes really good. Staff is very friendly and helpful. You almost feel bas to aşk something because They start running to accomdate you.

The Sunwing hotel Bangtao beach was a very good hotel on the beach. I was there with family and both the pool area and beach just 50 m away was sincerely great. Breakfast serving was good but very busy, recommendation is to go there rather early to avoid the large crowd at 9. Not very impressed by the buffet dinners but the ala carte menu was plentiful. Kids shows and entertainment was nice to have for the kids. The gym has seen better days but was still ok. Overall experience good and I would consider going back. A real plus when traveling with Ving is the option to check luggage already at the hotel to avoid a crowded line at the airport.

Lovely resort. Set on a gorgeous beachside with instant access to the beach and sea. has several pools ranging from appropriate for little ones to deeper swimming and a slide. Wasn’t noisy at the time we were there and had a very laid back feel. The restaurant had great breakfast options and served some lovely meals in the evening. The rooms were nice, clean and well air conditioned!

Great facilities and friendly staff. Oxsana was great as the children’s evening entertainer and Polly, Leena and Gift were lovely during the day with the kids.

The hotel was truly beautiful and clean, and the rooms were large and spacious. They were cleaned every day, and the towels were changed daily as well. If I had to mention one small point for improvement, it would be the beach towel exchange policy. Being able to exchange beach towels only once per day is sufficient during the dry season, but unfortunately during the rainy season it was not quite enough for us. We had booked half board, and every evening we could choose a dish from the menu, as well as an appetizer and a dessert. The food was very tasty, but unfortunately my husband experienced stomach issues after two days, even though we ate exclusively at the hotel. We assume it may have been due to the eggs, which my son and I do not eat because of allergies, while my husband does. Everything else we consumed was the same. Fortunately, it did not spoil our holiday because it only lasted a short time. The beach is beautiful. One section of the sand has been significantly eroded by the waves, exposing tree roots, but the rest of the beach is truly lovely. Everyone is very kind, friendly, and always willing to help. The pools are large and clean. We always enjoy returning to Thailand, and we will gladly stay at Sunwing hotels again. P.S. Thank you for the birthday surprise – it really made me happy! 🥰♥️
