BlueSotel SMART Krabi Aonang - Adults Only

Had a great Aloe Vera full body Massage by Kae, @ the Blue Aster Spa! It was excellent!

Our holiday to Thailand was cancelled with 6 days to go due to the original layover we had in the Middle East. I had to rebook the holiday there and then with no research on hotels that I would have normally have done as our original multi centre hotels were no longer available. This was the second hotel we stayed at that was chosen for us. It was a perfect location with a 2 minute walk to the beach. It was a 5 minute walk to the main strip so it was perfect to be close enough to the action but far enough that it was a quiet end of town. The room was really Modern clean and comfortable and all staff we came across were polite. Rooms cleaned every day and the room and bathroom was spotless. Was given a lovely little elephant key ring on arrival and the room has toothbrushes, shampoo etc The roof pool was nice however drinks were really expensive for the four of us so we didn’t really drink much there however the drinks we did have were very nice. We had breakfast on one of the days and seemed to be a large selection. We didn’t have an evening meal as we ate out each night but the rooftop restaurant looked nice. The downstairs pool was very cold even in high season. Unfortunately most of stay was ruined by some really loud fellow Brit’s in the room above ours. They thought nothing about playing music and drinking and shouting on the balcony until 3am in the morning and were dropping things onto our balcony below. This was not the hotels fault however did put us off staying in a high rise hotel again. Perfect location though and very clean so as long as other tourists were not there then we would stay again!

Moving here from a large resort it was nice to be able to come in and straight up to rooms very easily as quite small. The Aircon in the room was excellent and they do have bacon at the egg station at breakfast which we found to be very good. The pools always had plenty of beds available but no real shade on roof pools so we used the downstairs one. Happy hour twice a day for cocktails half price which were good (beers not included which we thought was strange) We did enquire about a swim up room glad we didn't upgrade as there was no privacy and limited shade with beds just on the edge of the main downstairs pool. We had a nice balcony overlooking the pool some of the other rooms would have terrible views as not a lot directly around the hotel and there seems to be some development going on. All the staff were very good. A short 5 mins walk to the beach but it's not the best beach so we used taxi boats to go to Railay and other places. Taxis super quick to get you out and about in evenings if you didn't fancy the walk - bolt or grab. Shared some views from the roof top bar and the walk back to the hotel from the non beach side

I went with my partner to Blue Aster Spa inside Bluesotel SMART, and it was a wonderful experience. We both took the Aromatherapy massage. Two great therapist were assigned to us, Kae and Junny, both kind and caring, giving us an unforgettable massage experience. We highly recommend their service :)
