BlueSotel SMART Krabi Aonang - Adults Only

What a great hotel well situated at the end of the beach, only a 2/3 minutes stroll away. Rooms spacious and modern. Roof top infinity pools are beautiful but sunbeds get snapped up quickly. Breakfast was everything you could possibly want with excellent service from all the happy staff. Definatley recommend this hotel for its location facilities and being adults only peacefulness, no screaming kids.

Great hotel…. Centrally located to the beach and town. Very clean rooms. Excellent service from our maid: Su. Pool areas look small upon arrival but there is sufficient space and it’s not cramped. Pools are great. The infinity roof top bar is lovely with great views. Reception staff are friendly and helpful. Bar staff are very different. There were 3 pool bar staff all huddled around the computer in the pool bar area playing a version of ‘candy crush’. None of them realised there were 3 people queuing for a drink at the bar! Also foot plates /trays and glasses left for hours around the pool. See photo. We used the gym. The floor needs replacing and the aircon not working. Good cardio equipment. Limited weights but enough for a holiday workout. Strangely there was another member of staff in the gym sat on social media on his phone the whole time. No engagement with guests etc. not sure of his purpose. The hotel provide filtered water and encourage you to refill your own bottles. I asked for a glass of ice at the bar to be told it would cost me 20bhat! Seriously?? In addition there are signs around the hotel threatening with fines or payment if outside food is taken into the pool areas or if food is removed from the breakfast area. Whilst I get they don’t want this to happen, surely a polite sign is enough. This a good hotel, unfortunately the lack of grip and management is what is letting this down for guests. This could be amazing but a lot of work to be done with the staff; particularly pool staff.

My daughter and I have just returned from two weeks at Blue Sotel Smart . The hotel was in a great location situated in a quieter part of AoNang and just a 5 minute walk to the beach and 10 minutes to the Long Boat Service. The hotel has two roof top pools which have amazing views and Happy Hour Twice Daily . The hotel was clean and our rooms comfortable. Fresh Pool towels are available daily and for 100 bht deposit you can also have fresh beach towels daily . There was a free safe in our room. We found the hotel and AoNang the perfect base to explore Krabi and the surrounding area .
