Centara Ao Nang Beach Resort & Spa

Staff were great, food was great, rooms were extremely clean. Cannot fault it.

Had a really enjoyable stay at Centara Ao Nang. The location is convenient and surrounded by beautiful limestone mountains, giving a true Ao Nang atmosphere. The pool area is spacious and relaxing, perfect for chilling or taking photos. The room was clean, modern, and very comfortable — especially the bed. The bathroom was also spacious with nice lighting throughout the room. Staff were friendly, welcoming, and always helpful during the stay, especially Khun Raya who was incredibly friendly and made the experience feel even more warm and comfortable. Overall, it’s a great balance between comfort, atmosphere, and value for money. Would definitely stay here again when visiting Ao Nang. 🌴✨

Excellent location, pleasant atmosphere and well mannered staff…

We stayed for four nights in February. The reception staff were not especially welcoming, although they did provide the information we needed. The hotel itself felt like a maze, with dark corridors leading to the rooms. Our room was acceptable but unremarkable. However, we were disappointed to find a small brook or drain outside the balcony that smelled strongly of sewage. We reported this to reception, but were told the hotel was fully booked and no alternative rooms were available. The pool area looked pleasant, although there was very little space between the sunbeds. There was also a seating area overlooking the beach where guests could eat food from the bar. Breakfast was acceptable, but we often had to ask staff to restock items such as cups and food. We ate out in the evenings, so I cannot comment on dinner. The cleaning schedule needs to be improved. On one occasion, we went on a tour and returned to the hotel at around 5 pm, hoping to relax before getting ready for the evening, but our room had still not been cleaned. We found a member of staff and asked if it could be done then, but they refused, so we took clean towels and bin bags back to the room ourselves. The same thing happened on two more days. I understand the hotel was busy, but they should vary the cleaning order so the same rooms are not always left until last. My main concern about this hotel was the lack of security, as it felt more like a public walkway. Members of the public could walk right beside the last row of sunbeds and in front of the table area because there was no barrier separating them. The walkway into the hotel also did not feel secure, and anyone could potentially access the room areas. On one occasion, we found our room door slightly open, although fortunately nothing had been taken. Other hotels usually have measures in place to prevent people using them as a route to nearby restaurants and bars. Other guests also expressed concern about the lack of security inside the hotel.
