We stayed at the Sofitel Krabi Phokeethra Golf & Spa Resort in April and had the most fabulous holiday. The hotel is absolutely stunning and Krabi itself is such a beautiful place to visit. What we loved most was how family friendly the resort was without ever feeling overrun with children — it still felt calm, luxurious and perfect for adults too. The hotel arranged a wonderful elephant experience for us which was incredibly special and one of the highlights of our trip. Every member of staff we met was so warm, friendly and welcoming throughout our stay. The biggest highlight for our family though was the children’s club. Our 4-year-old absolutely adored it and asked to go every single day — something she has never done before anywhere else! Every day was filled with brilliant activities including sports lessons, nature walks and arts and crafts. The staff there were truly exceptional — especially Sandy, Anfield, Sanin and Nanu. They were so caring, kind, fun and engaging, and our daughter built such lovely relationships with them all. She especially adored Anfield, who she said she wanted to be her “big sister”! Even now, four weeks after coming home, she still talks about them and asks when we can go back. Thank you to the whole team for making our holiday so memorable — we cannot wait to return.

The Krabi Sofitel is located in a quieter part of Krabi and has all the things you would need to make your stay comfortable. It has the largest pool in Thailand and easy access to the sea. They have an on site tour desk to plan trips. We went on a half day island tour which included lunch, drinks and snacks. The rooms are spcacious and there is good housekeeping service. There is a lovely club lounge and a stylish hotel bar. The White Lotus restaurant is superb. We chose to have an Indian meal and the dishes were good price and good portions. Tasted very authentic We were looked after in the restaurant by a fantastic team including restaurant manager Khun Sao. Her team Lita, Som, Jib and May were amazing. When ordering drinks at the swim up bar in the pool. Stick to what's on the drink menu as you can see the price. As soon as you order off menu the price of the drinks shoots way up! Also there is no on site EV car charging available, even though our online research said there was. The closest one available is at he Ritz Charlton, not far away but only offers slow charging capability. Breakfast at the Maya restaurant has something for everybody. Lots of tasty food and good service.

First time in Krabi, Sofitel. Amazing hotel, facilities and wonderful staff. Big shout out to Breakfast staff, especially Jinny. Local amenities are excellent! Great Massage and local restaurants. All at our door step! Pool is fab and great Beach. Overall would definitely love to come back.

Had a wonderful 5-night stay at Sofitel Krabi and would absolutely love to come back again. The resort itself was fantastic - the massive pool was absolute fun for the entire family, rooms were always clean and comfortable, and the staff was consistently polite and attentive. A big appreciation as well to the housekeeping and service teams for their round-the-clock efforts in keeping the rooms and amenities spotless and well maintained. Truly a memorable experience for our family. A special thanks to Chef Mahabir at White Lotus restaurant, who prepared Indian dishes to perfection and was incredibly soft-spoken, warm, and accommodating to all our requests, especially the special needs of our baby. Sao and May were also wonderful and made us feel truly welcomed throughout our stay.
