Sofitel Krabi Phokeethra Golf & Spa Resort

Just enjoyed a lovely weeks stay at this beautiful property. Where do I begin? We were given a warm welcome right from the start with chilled butterfly pea drinks cold towels and a smooth checkin by Apple and Vivi who escorted us to our room and informed us of all the facilities. They have one of the largest swimming pools in Thailand I believe .And thoughtfully divided with a peaceful adults side and kids side which has the bouncy bit to play about and a slide for the littlest ones. Hubby is a golf enthusiast, so he definitely enjoyed ! But there’s so much more for everyone to do! Lovely kids club ( thanks to Zand/ Anfield/ Preare,) the ladies that kept the kids engaged in activities everyday .(certain activities are paid but upto 1pm, there was plenty to do!) Theres also padel/ tennis courts, bikes to rent and ride and excursions you could arrange through them. Al was so helpful with his suggestions/ recommendations. The Food..! Oh such a delectable gastronomic experience at the White lotus. We overate there with the halfboard option, but it was soo worth it ! Sao was ever so attentive with her service and recommendations. Breakfast was a huge spread and so satiating! Special shoutout to Mook and Nook for remembering and bringing our daily Americano/ Pot of Tea. Special thanks to Pin who kept our Room all clean and well stocked throughout our stay. The Lovely singers at the Explorer Bar ., were such a treat to listen to..! There are just a few areas which I wouldn’t say are negatives but just good to know. Shuttle service is not complimentary and there’s a high charge ( as compared to the local taxi service)per person , per way to Aonang area. Including even children which i personally found a bit of a downer. But maybe given current fuel situations who knows. The colonial charm of the resort adds to the experience but the rooms and utilities are a bit dated. However there was no inconvenience of any kind and everything worked well. The overall service is what makes it great! Khlong Muang beach ( across the road section in front of the hotel is cleaned by the hotel , ) so was cleaner than certain other parts where we saw broken glass bottles and trash. We preferred swimming in the mornings when the water was clear and you could see tiny fish. My 6 year old says she misses Sofitel Krabi already.. We had a fantastic time and will return!

It was SO relaxing. The rooms were beautiful the location is not far away from any of the rooms, so walking is incredibly easy. The massage was so relaxing and Fern, my masseuse, did an incredible job getting my body relaxed while still keeping privacy. I enjoyed how the air temperature was always comfortable and the shower after the scrub made me feel relaxed and ready for the actual massage.

Our stay at Sofitel Krabi was wonderful. From the moment we arrived everyone was incredibly friendly and welcoming. The peaceful and relaxing atmosphere made it the ideal spot to unwind and enjoy a well-deserved break. The hotel was beautiful with fantastic facilities and free activities. We spent a lot of time relaxing by the lovely pool area - a bonus having the adults only area too. A special thank you to the pool bar team: Sem Sky Na Bao and Pom they were fantastic throughout our stay. Their smiles, attentiveness and going above and beyond made every visit enjoyable. Their excellent service and positive energy truly made our holiday unforgettable. Very impressed with the breakfast buffet! There was a fantastic variety of options, with something to suit everyone. Everything was fresh, well presented, and made for a great start to the day. We enjoyed every moment here and left feeling refreshed and relaxed. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Krabi and we’re already looking forward to returning.
