Sofitel Krabi Phokeethra Golf & Spa Resort

Please look for another place to stay disgusting behaviour, We book for an excursion with in house speedboat on the 21th May 2026 for 22th May 2026 trip, they promise to let us know before 6PM if the trip is confirm or not. (Need at least 8 people to go) We wait until 7PM yet no one reach us to give an update, than we went back to the desk again to ask and they said there were not enough people to go. On the 22th May around noon, some one call to our room saying that the trip is confirm for tommorow on the 23th May. Which we check out on that date, than we make a phone call to the front to request a late check out until 1PM / 2PM. The front desk straight decline our request saying that another guest already waiting for the room. Is this a joke ? We try to be loyal and bring revenue more to your hotel by paying 3Xtimes the normal speed boat rate on top of that we are accor platinum according to accor we can have a late check out. Am i asking too much for 1PM late check out ? Im sorry but your management is Disgusting !!!

We have spent a wonderfully relaxing stay at this beautifully appointed and maintained hotel in Krabi. Although set apart from the busy and more touristy centre, Ao Nang, it is only a fifteen minute taxi trip if you choose to spend the time outside the peace and quiet of the hotel. It is a beautifully designed and maintained property in a lovely setting. As always, it is the wonderful ambassadors who work in and around the hotel that make any stay memorable. And so it was at the Sofitel. From the driver Alex to Bella and Christopher who made us so welcome on arrival and helped with information on all that was available to us during our stay. Thank you! Then there was the dream team of butlers, Deena, Pepsi and Katy, in the lounge who entertained and fussed over us throughout our five day stay. They were absolutely delightful and made us feel quite at home. Also Troy, Luke, Nabi, Top, Tue, Peemai, Jeab, Naf, Som and Lita who along with our fabulous housekeeping (including Kolis) and pool staff, who were all so friendly and helpful to us every day of our stay. These are just a few of whose names we learnt and were consistently generous with their time and assistance. Our room No 229, an upgrade to a Junior Suite using our ACCOR points, was perfect for our stay! We had everything we could possibly want to make us comfortable, including the bed, a lovely spacious living area and well equipped bathroom, and it was refreshed beautifully twice a day by the helpful and friendly cleaning staff. There are a number of restaurants scattered along the street outside the hotel, however we chose to eat at White Lotus a lovely Thai and Indian themed restaurant and also Venezia, a wonderful Italian restaurant. For breakfast, Maya Restaurant was excellent with a large choice of foods. Thank you, Lita, Son and Tue for looking after us in each of the three restaurants. The Sofitel Krabi boasts the largest swimming pool in Thailand. It is massive and whilst we were there we often had it to ourselves. There are lots of comfortable lounges all around the pool area and we enjoyed relaxing in this area of the hotel. If, however, you wish to swim in the Andaman Sea, it is just across the road. It is a lovely beach with magnificent views across the bay to the islands that are so easily visited by long tail boats that will pick you up on the shore across the road from the hotel. We took a four hour tour of the Hong Islands which were only twenty minutes away, leaving early at 7.00 am to beat the crowds and the heat that arrive later in the morning and highly recommend this option. We would not hesitate to return to this beautiful part of Thailand and the wonderful Sofitel Krabi Phokeethra Golf & Spa Resort. We stayed at the Sofitel Krabi Phokeethra Golf & Spa Resort in April and had the most fabulous holiday. The hotel is absolutely stunning and Krabi itself is such a beautiful place to visit. What we loved most was how family friendly the resort was without ever feeling overrun with children — it still felt calm, luxurious and perfect for adults too. The hotel arranged a wonderful elephant experience for us which was incredibly special and one of the highlights of our trip. Every member of staff we met was so warm, friendly and welcoming throughout our stay. The biggest highlight for our family though was the children’s club. Our 4-year-old absolutely adored it and asked to go every single day — something she has never done before anywhere else! Every day was filled with brilliant activities including sports lessons, nature walks and arts and crafts. The staff there were truly exceptional — especially Sandy, Anfield, Sanin and Nanu. They were so caring, kind, fun and engaging, and our daughter built such lovely relationships with them all. She especially adored Anfield, who she said she wanted to be her “big sister”! Even now, four weeks after coming home, she still talks about them and asks when we can go back. Thank you to the whole team for making our holiday so memorable — we cannot wait to return.
