Bella Vista Family Resort

Upon arrival taken through the poolside to a tiny lift that is nothing short of a sauna, taken to our room that clearly hadn’t been cleaned rubbish and bags under everyone of the 4 beds, all beds are singles and different heights. Got up in the morning for breakfast no plates or glasses or cutlery or tables. Food is repeated every day same thing over and over the only thing that changes is the outside grill but even at that it seems to go in 2 day cycles. Staff are incredibly rude in the buffet area will serve people even though there is a Que and you can be waiting upwards of 45mins for a plate of watery pasta with bland sauce. Lunch is the same and dinner even worse where the often don’t have things. There is little to no choice for kids and ever the staff will tell you “the food is s*#t” but at least the can let you know apps where you can order food in not ideal when you’ve booked all inclusive. I have visited Tunisia before and the hotel we stayed in is miles better than this I’d recommend paying a little extra. Also if your room is the opposite side to the beaches there is a constant drone and noise. But we where lucky we had an indoor pool in our room as the toilet separate from the shower room would randomly decided to leak, which is surprising as you often don’t get any water from the shower or taps or are able to flush. The rooms are very very basic and make premier inn look like the ritz if it’s not plug sockets coming out the wall it’s the drying rack on the balcony falling off the wall when you out a pair of swimming shorts in them. Showers at the beach never work so your unable to clean yourself or feet if you’ve been to the beach. The beach it’s self is dirty and filled with bits of broken tiles so not ideal when your playing beach volleyball

Very disappointing stay – we left after one night. We arrived expecting a relaxing family holiday but ended up moving to another hotel the following day at our own expense. There was no air conditioning in reception or the dining room, making it unbearably hot. Dirty carpets throughout the hotel had ingrained dirt, there was a stale, musty smell throughout the building, mattresses were left in the hallways, and the overall cleanliness was very poor. The walls, curtains, fridges and rooms were dirty, the beds had holes in the mattresses, and the pool water appeared cloudy with flies everywhere. Check-in was chaotic. We were handed forms in another language with no help completing them, while being pushed and jostled by other guests in a crowded reception. Most of the reception staff were unhelpful, although the hotel owner was apologetic and explained that it was the local holiday period. Unfortunately, this did not excuse the poor hygiene and condition of the hotel. The dining room had no air conditioning, and our six-year-old had beads of sweat dripping from his face while trying to eat. Another member of our party became violently sick within minutes of eating the fish. To make matters worse, there was vomit on the floor outside the dining room toilets. We felt extremely disappointed and uncomfortable and had no confidence in staying any longer, so we transferred to another hotel the next day. Sadly, I would not recommend this hotel based on our experience.

The location is ideal for families, loads to do in the resort, staff are amazing and definitely make the place what it is, other people staying here made our stay a little difficult at the best of times but overall its been a good holiday, i would maybe come back but only at a different season as the other people staying at the resort at this time of year ruins the experience for us, rooms are always clean and up to standard, food could be a little more choices with different things like different themes etc instead of the same things every night but overall its an ideal place for families.

Location really good, entertainment team has saved this review by a long shot, rooms are okay a lot of guests are really rude pushing infront of children to get food, food is average good selection but could be done with more international cuisine big shout to the entertainment team and some of the staff they have been excellent

I had a good experience in the hotel I like the city the weather the sea I adore the food the service was só great the bár tender perfect and the perfect thing is the animation team they smile áll the Time give is energy thanks guys
