Diar Lemdina

We are just leaving the hotel Diary Lemdina after our 7th trip, this time we came with family. We had an amazing 2 bedroom apartment, plenty of space for us all. The food has been great and now you can sit at an outdoor restaurant which is very nice when you want to sit around and chat before you go to the entertainment. The entertainment team work very hard at keeping everybody of all ages happy morning till night. The bar staff never let your glass stand empty for long, thank you Nigel. It was fun watching the lifeguard GiGi encouraging the children to swim and jump in the pool and helping us find sunbeds together. The hotel is becoming a second home, thank you Jamel for making us feel as welcome every time we visit.

The hotel is adjacent to the medina. This is an important point for those seeking a relaxing/switch off holiday. Our room was on the exterior face of the hotel, the noise until midnight was loud, very loud. The lifeguards were always willing to help find a lounger and all 3 pools were clean. The relaxing pool next to the BBQ station was the quieter one but the sitting zone was smaller. There are many stairs throughout the hotel. I would not recommend for wheelchairs or prams. The drinks were plentiful and generally decent quality. The buffet was also very good. Our best night was at the restaurant that has the outdoor seating area (name forgotten, picture below) . The waiters were attentive and the vibe was calmer than the restaurant that is up the stairs from reception. I was very surprised this was priced at the same level as Medina Belissaire Thalassos. It seemed at least 1 star less, in my opinion.

We are just back from our 2nd stay at Diar Lemdina & again it was amazing! We stayed in a 2 storey, 2 bedroom apartment (we are a family of 5 & finding an all inclusive hotel with a room big enough for 5 of us is a challenge but Diar Lemdina have it perfect!) The rooms are very well kept and clean, with great housekeepers coming in daily with fresh sheets & towels. We only visited the buffet style restaurant & snack bar as this suits our kids the best but we were never disappointed. There was also so much choice at breakfast & dinner, there was always something for everyone. The food was always hot & fresh too! & the pizzas & burgers etc at the snack bar at lunchtime were always appreciated by our kids. The staff in the restaurant are so friendly & cannot do enough for you, there was always a warm welcome. The reception & bar staff were friendly & helpful. The pools were great, our room was next to the quieter pool, which was beautiful. We also visited the saltwater pool and the kids loved the main pool with the games & music. I can't leave a review without mentioning the entertainment staff! They work tirelessly all day - from seeing them first thing in the morning to last thing at night, they are happy & energetic all throughout the day, they really are an asset to the hotel, making sure everyone is happy and included. The only part which lets the hotel down slightly is the beach area, it isn't the cleanest. While you can't help seaweed etc on the beach, there is always litter and cigarette butts - which isn't great when your kids are digging in the sand. I will be honest and say I had seen people comment about this online and thought they were being a bit harsh but upon seeing it, I completely agree that it does let the hotel down slightly. Which is a shame because the hotel itself is so clean & tidy. This was our second stay here and we will definitely be back!

This was by far the best hotel ive stayed in, 10 days and I cannot fault it, pools were excellent, food was excellent, staff were excellent, very friendly and spacious throughout. We had the best time, but did nothing, we just chilled out, the entertainment team are around all day, but not pushy, just friendly, the all inclusive option is pretty much 24hr drinks and food, the snack bar is brilliant, the beach bar is fab, they will cook you fresh pizzas while you sit on the beach, the restaurant I found had a lot of choice, even if your fussy, we never had an issue and I can be fussy, staff wait on you relentlessly, they can't do enough for you, rooms were clean, and cleaned daily if required, right next to the Medina which is great for eating out or shopping, lots of shopping options local. Don't expect perfection, you may have a guest gecko in your room, which is fine and part of the experience, we loved our little friend who just hung out in the kitchen, we called him Larry🤣 We will be back here, Thank You so much for a great holiday! Absolutely love this place!

What a fantastic holiday place. Three amazing pools...excellent food..clean...entertainment team well what can I say they were brill never got tired of the kids or adults Mi Mi Su Su and the lads who were awsome dancers ...awake at all hours still cheerful 😊 bar staff reception staff and cleaners...maintaince staff all fab 👌 will defo be booking again..tui female rep was useless and unhelpful...medina outside ..barter...water park fab but the fun park opened too late! One thing to complain about was the entertainment area was up n down steps so hard work with a pram. Airport was an absolute rip off too...other than this fabulous holiday place...ps check the beach out its gorgeous 😍
