Iberostar Selection Kantaoui Bay

I came to Iberostar Kantaoui Bay expecting a relaxing holiday, but instead I left feeling embarrassed, disrespected, and extremely disappointed. I accidentally took a plastic cup to the pool because I genuinely didn't know it wasn't allowed. Instead of politely explaining the rule, the lifeguard shouted at me in front of other guests. I calmly asked him not to raise his voice, and rather than de-escalating the situation, he sprayed/threw water at me from a bottle in what felt like an attempt to humiliate me. I even have a photo of the incident. What upset me even more was the hotel's response. I reported everything to management, showed them the photo, and expected them to take the matter seriously. Instead, nothing meaningful was done. There was no apology, no reassurance, and no indication that the staff member's behaviour would be addressed. Everyone can make an honest mistake, and I would have happily followed the rules if they had simply been explained respectfully. No guest should be shouted at or treated this way by hotel staff. I chose this hotel because of its reputation, but this experience completely ruined my impression. I hope the management starts taking guest complaints seriously and ensures that staff treat visitors with basic respect and professionalism. But other than that it's lovely place.

The experience here was awesome,the people here were so kind to everyone and i want to thank especially Simon,he was funny and very nice to me and my dad (with the games and even with single talking) So so much exited to see everyone again!!

Always a beautiful time at this resort. Never too busy, always space to lounge and enjoy the sun. Lots of pool options, and the beach is right on the doorstep. Many entertainment options as well as opportunities to just relax and chill. The staff really make it amazing. I’d particularly like to thank the dining and entertainment staff. Simo and Tibo were so lovely and very friendly. Cannot wait to return!

Our stay at Iberostar Selection Kantaoui Bay was truly one of the best family holidays we have ever experienced. From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel like royalty. Bastet, who welcomed us at check-in, immediately made us feel at home with such warmth, professionalism and genuine kindness. The wonderful gentleman who personally escorted us to our room continued that exceptional first impression, and from that moment onwards, the level of service never faltered. The food was simply outstanding. Every meal was fresh, beautifully presented and offered an incredible variety. The themed evenings, especially the Italian and traditional Tunisian nights, were absolutely exceptional and showcased the passion and talent of the culinary team. A very special thank you to Ayadi, who always ensured we had a table and made every dining experience feel personal. His warmth, attentiveness and genuine care never went unnoticed and made every visit to the restaurant something to look forward to. The entertainment team were fantastic. From Tai Chi and yoga on the beach to the pool activities and incredible evening entertainment, there was never a dull moment. The energy, enthusiasm and professionalism of the team made every day enjoyable for both adults and children. We would especially like to thank Mino, Simone, Majid, Ayadi, Tibo, DJ DD and Nina from the Kids Club. Every one of you brought something unique to our holiday and made us feel like more than just guests. A special thank you also goes to the lifeguard team, who had our sunbeds prepared every morning with a smile. It was such a thoughtful touch that made each day by the pool effortless and relaxing. To Neziha and the entire housekeeping team, thank you for taking such incredible care of our room. It was always immaculate, but the beautiful flower petals and thoughtful gestures you left for us made our 20th Wedding Anniversary even more special. Those little touches created memories we’ll cherish forever. Finally, thank you to every member of staff—from reception, guest relations, housekeeping, chefs, waiters, bartenders, maintenance, security and management. I can genuinely say that every single person we encountered made us feel welcomed, valued and cared for. If I have misspelled anyone’s name or unintentionally missed someone, I sincerely apologise. There are simply too many wonderful people to mention individually, and every member of the team deserves recognition. I can honestly say I could write a book about the positive experiences we had during our stay. It wasn’t just the beautiful hotel or the outstanding food that made this holiday so special—it was the people. Your kindness, pride, professionalism and genuine hospitality turned a family holiday and our 20th Wedding Anniversary into memories that will last a lifetime.
