Iberostar Selection Kuriat Palace

This is a wonderful hotel. I had read some bad reviews and was apprehensive, however i would say ignore those as i can honestly say our experience is fantastic! We are still here as have a few days left, the service is superior, all the staff work very hard and go beyond expectation. The reception staff, especially Wassim, so welcoming and warm, our room cleaner Huda, polite and very thirough. All staff greet guests at every opportunity and take time to ask if you need anything else. The room is well furnished, beds comfortable, AC works and no issues with flies or mosquitos as mentioned in some reviews. The grounds are immaculate as is the beach. Food is great especially fresh fish which is grilled as well as ample salads and a good varied choice of food. Entertainment team very friendly and interact with all guests. I had read there was noise pollution as airport nearby, this is completely untrue! Plenty of loungers and sunbeds along the beach as well as hammocks dotted about. We are yet to go into the local town but so far its been brilliant!

Five star all the way, staff, rooms, facilities all immaculately clean, happy team, no request too much, from check in to departure .. definitely best hotel we have stayed in for a while .. we will be back

My wife and I were here in July for 11 nights. I’ve given it a 5 that’s for the staff. I would rate as 4 . There wasn’t enough food choices considering the amount of people it caters for. Make sure you bring insect repellent. I got bit 50 times. I’ve been coming to Tunisia for 15 years never have I had bites. It’s because it’s near the salt marshes. All the staff were lovely. What it needs is a walk in pool area. My wife is disabled we did realise it didn’t have one. There a steps to get in, lovely beach. I’ve got to be honest because of this and not enough food choices and mossies I wouldn’t comeback . I would like to thank our waiter saaid he was excellent and Ali the pool waiter fantastic staff.

The stay in Kuriat was nice, the location of the hotel in Skanes, in front of a very good beach, the swimming pool is clean, the food is diverse and fresh. The most memorable thing is the exceptional staff, very patient despite the crowd, very attentive and all my family and I were so happy and appreciative of the room cleaner (Asma) and Zied (receptionist). To be honest I only went there because many of the reviews and rating were very good, but I didn't really expect to have bad experience that very few people had. Firstly, the small fridge in the room wasn't working as I needed for my baby’s milk. Secondly the bathroom sink was a bit blocked drains very slowly told the room service many times for 2 days, it only got sorted when I told a very nice cleaner managed to get it sorted by getting a plumber and then the fridge problem a nice porter managed to get a portable electric cool box. It’s a 5-star hotel at you expect the hotel should be air condition everywhere when its 40 degrees outside no A.C in the Hallway, Lobby area and the Restaurant the only cool place is in your own room. Basically, hotel service is very poor, but the cleaners and the porters are so helpful they should be doing customer service role, won’t be going back there.
