Amazing staff lovely food and so much tonhave a laugh coming back again

Issues with room ac as it's not turned on until mid June have to keep door open as too hot but then you get bitten by mosquitos plus the noise of cars all night back firing as you are by the road. Spoke to reception they tell you maintenance control and decide when ac goes on. spoke to guest relations manager she tells you that the government tell them when it goes on and off really. So spoke to a senior manager who actual seemed genuinely interested and said there's always a solution and it will be sorted today so thought that's good. But hey nothing was done so clearly wasn't interested. Another 9 days of this. We have stayed here 5 times and love the hotel but feel really let down this time.

I find it difficult to recommend this hotel, certainly above others we have stayed in Tunisia and others that appear to be better in Sousse. There are some good points. The food is pretty good overall with a good choice and the wine in the restaraunt and beer is good. The wine elsewhere is warm although beer is ok and spirits are the usual poor North African standard. The main drawback of the hotel we found is that the pool is set back a long way from the beach with no view of the beach like many hotels and a walk to get from one to the other. There are also no toilets around the pool and it is a 5 min walk to the beachside toilet. There was building work going on adjacent to pool which might provide closer toilets in future perhaps. The alternative is to walk back to reception or the room with wet clothes. Im sure many at the swim up bar just go where they sit which is not pleasant to contemplate. There seem to be a lack of matresses for sun beds so unless you get to the pool before 9.00 there aren't any. We didnt have much interaction with the animation team but they all seemed pleasant. We had a really great stay at Marhaba Club and would definitely come again! The hotel is fantastic value for money and everything over there is so reasonably priced. The food was really good with plenty of choice, and we loved that you could eat lunch either at the main restaurant or the pool bar. The ice cream was absolutely beautiful too! We were also really surprised by how nice the drinks were – cocktails and wine were both genuinely good. The animation team were brilliant and really made the holiday fun. Mahdi and Rico were so friendly and always involving everyone in activities without being pushy. There was always something going on during the day. Reception staff were super helpful throughout the stay, and a special mention has to go to Mo at the lobby bar who was honestly the best! Such lovely service every day and always made us feel welcome. The pool area was lovely, kept very clean, and the swim-up bar was a big plus. The indoor pool was also really good and the gym was better than expected. Rooms were a little basic and dated, and the cleaning during our stay was fairly minimal. A couple of times towels were missed, but one quick call to reception and they brought fresh ones straight up. The bed isnt the best. 2 large singles pushed together to make a double, and a third single bed in the corner of the room taking up alot of space. We asked for it to be removed but no one ever did. The balcony was lovely though – really spacious and nice to sit out on. The beach was nice, although the water was a bit rough while we were there so we didn’t spend much time in the sea. The location was really handy too. There’s an ATM in the sister hotel and reception can exchange money for you. We used the InDrive app for taxis which worked really well. There’s also a shop in the sister hotel and two more within a 5-minute walk, plus a steakhouse, KFC, Papa John’s and a rooftop bar nearby. Port El Kantaoui is around 15 minutes away in a cab, and there’s also a little tourist train that stops regularly which was fun to try. Hard Rock Hotel is also only about 15 minutes away by taxi. Overall we had a fantastic holiday and would definitely return!

Amazing hospitality from staff in this hotel and the country! Such tasty food! Staff were really lovely and helped us out when booking taxis / excursions. We even got a sea view room for free. Will defiantly be coming back to this hotel 😍 special mention to Ayoub & Samar - was really kind throughout our whole trip
