Fantastic experience, lovely staff, especially Madi on the animation team!

Madi has a fine repertoire of dad jokes, and good chat. Hotel staff cannot be faulted. Service excellent.

We have just returned from 10 wonderful nights at Marhaba Club and can honestly say it was the best holiday we’ve ever had. We had no issues at all and would happily recommend this hotel to anyone. We would definitely go back! The hotel has a fantastic atmosphere, managing to feel both relaxed and lively at the same time. The location is perfect, with a beautiful private beach just a couple of minutes’ walk away. The beach was clean, the sea was warm and quite clear, and there were always plenty of sunbeds with parasols. We loved that the beach sellers weren’t allowed to approach you while you were relaxing on your sunbed, although they were there if you wanted to browse by the shoreline. There are also showers, toilets, a beach bar (10am to 5pm), and water sports if you fancy them. The pool was lovely too, with plenty of space, a swim-up bar, children’s areas and lots of activities throughout the day. As with many hotels, some guests reserved sunbeds very early, which was a little frustrating, but we were still usually able to find beds together. The food was very good, with plenty of choice. There was always something for everyone, including reliable favourites for fussy eaters alongside daily specials. After 10 nights it became a little repetitive, but there was still enough variety that we always found something we enjoyed. The pool snack bar was excellent and open for most of the day, so there was always food available if you missed breakfast or lunch. Our room was clean and comfortable, with a huge bed made from two large single beds pushed together, excellent air conditioning and daily housekeeping. The air conditioning worked so well we actually had to turn it down at times! The fridge in the room was really useful, and we loved being able to collect bottles of cold water from the bars throughout the day to keep chilled. There was also cold drinking water available in reception, and being able to exchange money at the hotel was really convenient. The people are what make this hotel so special. Every member of staff we met was friendly, polite and incredibly hardworking. A special thank you to Ihab and Fares in the restaurant, who always found us a lovely table, kept our drinks topped up and looked after us so well. The animation team worked tirelessly from morning until night. They were always smiling, encouraged everyone to join in without being pushy, and there was always something happening, including water polo, aqua aerobics, darts and volleyball. Every evening there was different entertainment at the sister hotel, Occidental Marhaba, which Marhaba Club guests can also enjoy. A special thank you to Adem and Franco, who were brilliant throughout our stay. We also want to mention Malik (Salamanca), the hotel photographer. Although he asked once if we’d like photos, when we said no he never pressured us again. Instead, he spent time chatting with us over several days, was genuinely friendly, and even taught us a new card game. It was those little personal touches that made our holiday even more memorable. We’d also highly recommend the spa at the Occidental Marhaba. The hammam and massage were excellent value and one of the highlights of our holiday. The pirate ship excursion was also great fun. It was a little cheesy in the best possible way, with singing, dancing, good food, a swimming stop, and we were even lucky enough to see dolphins. Finally, please remember to bring some cash to tip the staff if you can. The bar staff, restaurant staff, housekeeping and animation team all work incredibly hard and thoroughly deserve it. We came home with wonderful memories and are already talking about returning in the future. Thank you, Marhaba Club, for giving our family such a special holiday.

Currently staying here. It's not a 4****. More of a 2/3 ***. I am enjoying myself and family of 6, but I would not return. The staff are really friendly, if I am honest, too friendly in hope to secure tips. Don't get me wrong, I tip but i find it off putting getting disturbed every two mins when trying to have food. Our room was ok clean, there was still hair on the corners of the floor. We had the room cleaned the next day and that seemed to have brought it up to standard. The rooms are tired with stains on the desk and missing lamp shades. Bathroom clean, but tired. Be aware the step out of the bath is big. Literally use 3 points of contact on the sink unit. Food ok. Nothing special, same stuff every night, with one dish of the night. My biggest grumble on this , is parents let young kids go up unsupervised, therefore , if the kids are not taught good manners, they use their fingers and touch other food etc.. We went at opening time for lunch once, there was a massive queue. Outside waiting for the doors to open. We now go 20 mins later. Likewise we go for breakfast early 0700 to miss the 0830 peak time. The pool was closed on day of arrival, due to residents complaining how dirty it was. The maintenance team were cleaning it all afternoon. It's now open, very busy and lots of families. Today , a large group were having tequila slammers at the pool bar... Snack bar food is ok. Bar staff do what they can. Entertainment was 30 mins late both sat and Sunday, we haven't been since. The hotel reception area is beautiful. But for some reason people like to sleep there, like if they are homeless. This is only during the day, evening time becomes a hive for families to play cards and chat... Grounds are nice and you can use the sister hotel. We used the spa, which was good value. There is a good gym and indoor pool,ideal for lengths. The sea is just down the path past the pools. We have been down there twice, beds and drink available.

Location 10/10 Hotel/cleanliness etc 10/10 All staff 10/10 (Animation, bar staff, restaurant staff, cleaners, receptionist, waiters, life guards) literally all of them made me feel so welcome and at home! Especially considering this was my first solo holiday. The entertainment 10/10 it's brilliant especially the shows done by the hotels animation team. Food 7/10 - it was okay for an all inclusive but I have had better but that's the only slight improvement that could be made if I had to choose something. I would return here in a heartbeat - already looking to book again :)
