Marhaba Club

I’m going to be completely honest about this hotel; We (myself, husband, 2 year old daughter, 11 year old daughter and mother in law) stayed here at the Marhaba Club, Sousse, Tunisia 6th April to the 13th April, 7 nights The hotel next door is called the Occidental and they’re sister hotels to a group. The Marhaba Club is smaller but we had use of next doors Spa, shop, indoor pool and Gym. There’s a small water park shared between both hotels. Marhaba has a swim up bar and a private bar on the beach too. The staff were all absolutely fantastic, I’ve never known anything like it, they’re all friendly, happy and clean, the hotel cleaners/maintenance and gardeners are always cleaning and working hard, the room cleaners are amazing, so polite and can’t do enough for you. The hotel rooms are a little let down, the room is good but the bathrooms need renovating desperately but they’re functional for a holiday, this did not bother us and has not changed our 5 star opinion. There’s building work going on on site but doesn’t effect the stay, they’re clearly working to improve the hotel which has to be done at some point. The food is buffet style 3 times a day and snacks by the pool 11am until 5pm, food is fantastic but can get repetitive, every other night they did a ‘special evening’. About the area: It’s a country where you stay on the resort and use the excursions put on, it’s not a place to roam and explore, as brits we stand out and we get constantly followed, scammed and harassed, all being said it’s still a 5 star review because any negatives were out weighed by so many positives.

Khaoula was very thoughtful and so kind to room 1228. She was always helpful with any request and attentive to detail. She made my experience much more enjoyable and comfortable.

Second time at this hotel and there is just no words …. The staff are just totally amazing.. it’s like home from home… Last time we went it was for 1 week.. this time we came for 2 weeks… To be honest I don’t want to go home 😂 The manager was one of the most nicest person I have ever met.. he went totally out of his way for us.. always said hello and always had time to speak to us.. He also made it possible for us to see a suite that we would like to book for next time we come…(cos we will definitely be coming back without a doubt …) Taoufik .. is the manager of the marhaba club hotel and such a gentleman he is.. Highly highly recommend this hotel without a doubt…. 1 million per cent you will not be disappointed at all 😍😍

This is my first time here and i have to say that is one of the best experiences in my life the staf is good and the animation team they really doing great jobb and big love for Rico

Staff is mostly friendly. Food is nice, good selection of local and international dishes. Some dishes lack flavor & are too watery. Bar only open until midnight :( Overall quite clean, lobby and beach house toilets are mediocre, Water leaking from bidett. Outdoor pool could be heated. Old decommissioned hotel building in the middle kind of unfortunate to look at. Very generous ratio of alcohol and soda in longdrinks (keep it up). Animator team is super friendly and funny.
