Mediterranee Thalasso Golf

This hotel was brilliant, it should have a five star rating. We travelled with our five year old and had a great 8 night stay. The hotel is beautiful inside and out, it has three lovely pools all surrounded by well tended, green gardens with plenty of shade. Pools were very clean and the staff were on hand to assist with bringing sunbeds and umbrellas. There were always plenty of sunbeds, so no rush to place your towel first thing in the morning! We mainly used the kids pool which was a smaller shallow pool and were most families seemed to be based; it was handily located near clean toilets and a great pool bar. There were two other pools, the large central one had lots of entertainment suitable for everyone, the fresh sea water pool was stunning, a really picturesque setting surrounded by palm trees and lots of greenery. All staff were very friendly and helpful, always on hand to assist with anything needed. The entertainment team were brilliant, they were all very kind and caring toward children and families, Shaggy and Spider and all the other entertainment chaps were wonderful, I would say this hotel has the best entertainment team for families with young children that I have ever been to. Our daughter loves the mini disco, and there was plenty of daytime activities to enjoy too. All entertainment staff were very respectful and had a wonderful manner when dealing with children, you could tell they genuinely cared and wanted the children to have fun. The food was incredible! So much choice and everything was very fresh, hot dishes were cooked in front of you and the serving counters were immaculate, every day there were different choices of meat, fish and vegetables, local dishes always wonderfully cooked lamb on offer, pasta, pizza, noodles and all incredibly tasty! the salad bar was always fresh and had plenty of choice. So much fresh fruit available and lovely deserts and pastries. The room was a little dated, but very clean and comfortable. Whilst the entertainment went on until about midnight most nights, we couldn’t hear a thing from our room, which was great when trying to get out five year old to sleep! The housekeeping team were great, they cleaned and tidied our rooms beautifully and were very friendly. The beach was beautiful and there were two bars operating throughout the day. The location of the hotel was great for families as not right in the busy tourist area, but a 10 minute taxi ride to the old town and medina, and about a 20 minute taxi ride to the marina and Carthage land. We have been to this area of Tunisia before but we’re closer to the marina area and much preferred the location of this hotel, there were plenty of excursions to do, we booked a pirate ship trip through the hotel which was great fun and value, and took ourselves out and about via taxi which are cheap and available right outside the hotel. The hotel has its own shop if you don’t fancy the medina, the medina can be a bit pushy in terms of sales, but it is a great cultural experience! There is also a very reasonable shop about a 2 minute walk outside the hotel which had a great range of products from pool toys to leather goods and ceramics. We really loved this holiday and hope to visit this hotel again someday. Thank you to all the wonderful staff for making our stay so comfortable, fun and memorable!

We recently stayed at this hotel and overall had a really enjoyable holiday. The location is excellent, the beach is beautiful, and the rooms were comfortable and well maintained. Pound for Pounds this hotel is amazing! The staff at desks, bar and buffet were great! A special mention goes to the entertainers Shaggy, Mikey and Spider, who were absolutely brilliant and brought great energy to the resort. However, there were a few disappointing aspects. We requested a double bed but were given twin beds pushed together. The event programme often didn’t match the actual activities taking place, which was frustrating as some activities were prioritised more than others. Unfortunately, we also felt there was a strong French bias within the entertainment team. During some activities, especially the culture quiz, we felt uncomfortable and somewhat excluded because we didn’t speak French. One of the male entertainers with glasses came across as quite condescending at times, which affected our experience. Some also spent much more time entertaining young female guests than the rest of the guests. Breakfast could be improved a fruit selection, and it would have been nice if the juice machines were available during lunch and dinner too. Some of the entertainment staff were also a little too persistent in encouraging participation, even after politely declining. Activities like darts and archery also involved a lot of shouting and dancing, which may not suit guests looking for a more relaxed atmosphere. Despite these issues, we still had a good holiday overall thanks to the beautiful setting and some fantastic members of staff.

We arrived at the hotel expecting a smooth check-in experience, but unfortunately the first impression was very disappointing. Upon arrival, we were told we could not have lunch before check-in. It is understable and we said nothing yet another guest in the exact same situation was allowed to leave luggage and go eat. This felt very unfair and inconsistent and unfortunately inline with most tunisian hotels policy: we favor tourists and bend the rules for them not local guests. There was also a lot of conflicting information from staff regarding what was included in the all-inclusive package, which created confusion throughout our stay. The room itself was not properly prepared: the mirrors had visible stains and there were no towels provided when we arrived. Overall, the first experience felt disorganized and unprofessional, especially for a hotel that should prioritize hospitality and equal treatment of guests.

Just returned from our 14 night stay, I dont understand how this place is only a 3 star the place is so beautiful and clean the rooms are currently being modernised and the whole hotel has been upgraded alot since our last visit 2 years ago the new food hall is amazing the new pizza section was by far the best new addition the pizzas were out of this world the tunisian section was just wow every night, great selection of dishes on different themed night a special mention has to go to our waiter Heikal this guy really made our trip so special we sat in his section every night he was working he made it so special added flowers and petals made it look romantic which the pregnant missus love, he refilled drinks all asked if we needed anything and was just a really great guy and worked so hard to keep people happy his section was always the busiest will add a picture and just want to say big thank you he is a credit to your hotel, also the omelette chef who worked mornings remembered us and our order was very quick and always had a welcoming smile his name was Gadou, the animation time were constantly working hard to keep guests happy we felt bad as we didn't want to do anything but they weren't pushy and still made sure to ask us if we wanted to join in, the other guests loved them and they were great with the kids too always making sure they were having fun, we paid a little extra for a better room when booking which was a plus for us as we got to use our firestick to watch movies when we were in bed our biggest problem last time we visited was the wifi this has been massively upgraded and worked everywhere we went in hotel with pretty good speeds too, we were allowed to check out an hour later than asked we enquired about keeping room until 17:00 so we could shower before heading home that wasn't an option without paying £50 extra so instead they told us they would find us an empty room to use and they did this without charging us a penny which was perfect as my missus has a skin condition and it was also fantastic customer service, to be transparent this was our 3rd visit here we las visited in 2024 and 2023 before that was nice to see all the upgrades I would recommend this place to everyone it's amazing were going back next weeks and can't wait, Thanks to all the team at the mediterranee you are amazing see you next year 🙂

We had a wonderful time at the Hotel.It was stunning and kept very clean.Lovely welcome when we arrived and food was nice just puddings could of been labelled up better.Some of the restaurant staff could of been more welcoming some wouldnt even say hello. Also depending on what time of year you go it can be catered to suit certain nationalities more. Big shout out of course to who we knew as Bugs and Bobua on animation team both were very welcoming and made our stay.
