Paradis Palace

Firstly we are vast travellers and go to many places all over the world, Tunisia was lovely , beaches , Hammamet centre , the weather , couldn’t fault it, people where lovely. Hotel staff were all friendly, the drinks waiters round the pool and bar work so hard and are a credit to the hotel, the entertainment team where always very friendly, the hotel shop and its staff where brilliant, Now the bad: -No water 3 times in a week -Twice Electricity went off for a good while -5:30am if you even want to try get a sunbed at the pool despite hotel stating no beds till 7am -Lunch/evening meal absolute chaos , ques , stress, no organisation , lots of food but poor quality , and getting a drink even harder, staff shouting rushing round look over worked - entertainment team where lovely and work hard but the shows are done on a 10€ budget and painful to watch - visited the spa for massage , Hamman and facial , worst 90€ ever spent , staff lovely again but poorly trained , if trained at all. - drinks poor quality and everything poured from non refrigerated bottles I would say the hotel was either over sold , or very under staffed way to many people for the size of the establishment, I’m sure there are some lovely hotels in Tunisia , but sadly this is not one of them, will defiantly return to Tunisia but would pass on staying again!

The hotel is right on the clean, sandy beach with beautiful blue water. Sunbeds were available on the beach but we stayed by one of the pools. All the staff were welcoming, friendly and work extremely hard. A large majority of them speak a range of languages: it is a credit to them. The hotel is calm and family friendly with lots of activities to take part in if you wish across the day and evening. We had two spacious rooms in the main hotel as there were 5 of us with our three children ranging from 6, 9 and 12. The beds were extremely comfortable. The furniture in the rooms was a little dated and had several repairs and patchwork across the years however the sink, toilet and bath/shower were in a good, clean condition. If the rooms were updated, it would completely transform the final touch/ feel for the hotel. However, we were unlucky with 1 of our rooms with a very strong smell of sewage coming through the air conditioning. Despite reporting it every day and although maintance would come to try and resolve it, this remained unresolved and really let the holiday down. The hotel was fully booked and we couldn't swap rooms. The 2nd room was amazing, clean, spacious and cool thanks to the super air conditioning. Food was amazing and had a huge range to cater for different nationalities. From breakfast, to lunch, to afternoon waffles and ice cream and dinner, we found our very active, growing and food loving boys didn't have the need to snack throughout the day. This was a great clean, busy hotel with the potential to be amazing if it had a slight freshen up.

The hotel was amazing, the animation team were great at keeping guests entertained at all times with the variety of activities they offer, the rooms were very spacious and comfortable, food was always great as they offered a wide variety of delicious options

The location of this hotel is not the best nothing much around if you want to walk can get taxi into centre of Yasmin Hammamet for 15 to 20 dr. Hotel rooms are in Need of updating we were in a bungalow to start our holiday which had sunken bath and very strange open plan bathroom it was fine and air-con Worked unfortunately we had no hot water it took a number of trips to reception and they offered to move use but room they showed us was same and not next door to family didn’t want to have to pack and move rooms if water could be fixed and it was unfortunately that evening we came back to strange smell like nail polish remover had spilled. Went back to reception they sent the s staff member with us back to room to see what the problem was he walked in sniffed the air and said no no out. Something was wrong with air-conditioning so we then all had to pack and move. The rooms we moved to were better and had no more problems with room or air conditioning. Unfortunate this hotel is too big for size of main eating area. The food is generally good will always find something to eat although you have to queue to get everything in different places so your food goes cold while waiting. Main restaurant only open for breakfast and evening meals, beach restaurants open for lunch and afternoon snacks lovely waffles if you’re happy to queue. Staff are hit and miss can get very helpful but some less than helpful when I asked for cutlery from one waiter he refused to give me it as I wasn’t sitting in his section of dining hall but no cutlery in tray in my section very frustrating had to wait even longer! There are four bars in the hotel but the Eden bar is the only bar which serves spirits you can get beer and wine at beach restaurant bar and only soft drinks at swim up bars not great for all inclusive also only two drinks served per person and small glasses. Entertainment team work hard shows are mostly done by them the usual dance shows etc. The pools are good we especially liked the quiet pool nice relaxing pool. Hotel okay could be great with some investment. After a rocky first few days we did enjoy our time here although not the queues for food and drinks. Hotel has most things you need there is shop and a cash machine in reception and also one on left at the gate as you leave hotel by shop there. No doctor or pharmacy on site. Lovely beach beware of jellyfish sea

The hotel’s location is fantastic, right on the beach, and the atmosphere is lovely. From the moment we arrived, we felt relaxed and settled. The staff are what truly make this hotel. Whether it was the cleaners, waiters, or entertainment team, everyone was friendly, hardworking, and welcoming. A special mention to Pika, who checked in with us every day, and to the dining staff, who always made sure we had a table. Their work ethic and hospitality are exceptional and were one of the highlights of our stay. The entertainment was enjoyable, although it could be a little less repetitive. We still looked forward to watching it each evening. The main downside was the rooms. They are very dated, although they were clean. The air conditioning had an unpleasant smell throughout our stay. The hotel staff did their best to fix the issue, and I can’t fault their efforts, but unfortunately the problem kept returning. The shower was a little unusual, but it worked well and had good water pressure. Overall, we had a wonderful holiday. If the rooms were updated, this hotel would be even better. The outstanding staff, great location, and welcoming atmosphere made our stay thoroughly enjoyable.
