Been here 2 days and what a poor hotel says 5* lucky to give it 2, service poor , drinks very poor quality if you want decent spirits you have to pay extra, there are only 4 cocktails included in all inclusive, nobody seems interested, reception unprofessional,room like a sauna ac bearly works, you have to queue for a burger /steak as the only cook it infront of you so takes forever and you have to ask for a drink in restaurant,everything about this place is not 5*,I don't do reviews normally but im that frustrated with the hotel felt I had too. Honestly stay away .

If you like fun don’t bother! There is little to no evening entertainment and the animation team are pointless! They just stand in their phones and don’t interact with guests!

There is very little to do in the local area, which my husband and I were a bit disappointed about, it turned out to be an awesome holiday. The staff were so friendly and couldn't do enough for us. I celebrated my birthday whilst we were there and all of the staff, even down to the cleaner made the whole day extra special. Sami the bar manager made sure that we had everything we needed. All staff in the a la carte lunch and evening restaurants were the absolute best. We are already looking to book again for next year!

Animation team are no way near as good as previous stay! We stayed at the hotel in 2025 and the animation team (momo and chico) were incredible and very attentive and super fun! This stay after 7 days we still haven’t even been greeted by any of them! They spend the evenings looking bored and don’t bother to interact! Because of this we will not be coming again and our stay was so boring!

We stayed at Royal Thalassa Monastir with our five-month-old baby, and it was a terrible experience. Despite the advertised five-star rating, service was poor, and they didn’t take us seriously. Check-in took hours with no help, the AC never worked despite daily requests, and our baby suffered a heat rash. The bathroom flooded, I was injured, and staff were rude, even laughing amongst themselves. Bedding was not changed, the baby cot was ripped, and even belongings were taken. We saw many others complaining too. Do not recommend this hotel to anyone, especially families.
