We spent five days here back in April and honestly had a really enjoyable stay. For the price, you get a lot of value, and we came away feeling it was money well spent. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and always attentive. There was plenty of entertainment throughout the day and evening, with something for both adults and children to enjoy. The food was also better than we expected, with a good variety and consistently decent quality. The on-site water park was a real highlight, and the slides were great fun for both kids and adults. Our room was spacious and generally clean. It is starting to feel a little dated in places, but it was comfortable and had everything we needed. The only slight downside was the beach, which had quite a lot of seaweed during our stay. However, that’s simply down to nature and not something the hotel can control. Overall, we had a fantastic, affordable holiday and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to anyone looking for good value for money.

Honestly, I was worried about travelling to this hotel after I booked and joined the Facebook page and saw the terrible reviews. However I stand with them. Travelling as a family with 6, 9 and 13 year olds it is not a hotel I would visit again. Before arriving I emailed the hotel for reassurance which they provided me. Positives - they allowed us to use all the facilities when we arrived until our room was ready -you could find pool beds without waking up super early. If not they’re accessible and you can get them yourself and put it where there is space -kids club were friendly -Tayissa at guest relations will help as much as she can -The first room we was in was spacious and clean, but then we had 2 LIZARDS in our room and it took staff half hour to come to get them out. We ended up moving rooms. -kids enjoyed water park, which is open 10-12 and 2-4 Negative - staff do not treat you the same if you’re not Tunisian or from Muslim culture. Or if you not giving constant tips. For example no one ever brings any drinks to you nor at dinner, if you want them to they expect you to pay them a tip each time they bring you a drink. Some Muslim families were given 1.5 litre bottles of coke for their families at meal times for dinner and as we were a family of 6 when we asked we never got. - food is not great, spaghetti everyday, cold and stale fries. Some foods are edible like grilled fish, burger and chicken sometimes. We often ate out. -staff are working in extreme hot conditions with no AC in the kitchen. When some were coming out with plates their uniform was soaking and dripping wet, it would be dripping on the plates which was a put off. -entertainment was poor only enjoyable for kids was foam party but that is at 3pm. - All white party you can sit where food is served outside unless you reserve tables which I think came with a fee. - reception staff have a don’t care attitude -AC in rooms is awful, can barely feel it. AC around hotel is limited, none in hallways or corridors to rooms and limited in main restaurant. - watched lady making omelettes turn people away to then make 2 for herself. - noise from nightclub is horrendous. - when we moved rooms they didn’t help us and moved us in a room with no card lock, key didn’t work and the hole was stuffed with tissue. - the bathroom smelt like urine and was small, which wasn’t acceptable for us being a family of 6.When we showered because the shower curtain rail was hanging and the cubicle being so small, the water overflows and leaks. I had to beg for extra towels to put on the floor. The bin was broken and wasn’t replaced. -the information scanned from QR code it not correct. There is no late breakfast and dinner finishes at 9pm. -Staff member came in the room to look for the lizard and was on his home laughing having a private conversation, which I videoed. Again staff did not acknowledge this. I usually only stay at 4/5 star hotels and I booked this last minute and got a decent deal. If that was not the case I would be more upset. I wouldn’t return and my children said the same. It makes me worry about returning to Tunisia as it was my first time there. I would say to stay elsewhere, maybe more in Sousae or Hammemet. If staying in Skanes I would only recommend Iberostar which we passed going to the shops and it looked beautiful.

Whole trip was shambles from start to finish. Let’s start: Rooms: nothing like advertised. We was given a family room firstly and had to change due to the lock being faulty, beds not made on arrival, ripped wall paper & over all just dirty and smelly🤢 - the room we was finally given we was above a night club which was VERY loud until 3am/4am most nights. Baring in mind we had two young children in the room with us. Most hotels/resorts have cash machines in to draw/exchange money, no not this one. Had to travel to monastir airport for closest cash machine. Entertainment: what entertainment? Nothing at all to do on the resort. Nothing much for children to do. Cannot fault the animation team tho as they were so friendly & always lovely to chat to. They worked very hard to try and get guest involved with whatever they were doing. Food: absolutely shocking! Awful! Not much choice. Most days/nights were very repetitive. Nothing at all for children to eat. Don’t really think about the children when catering considering it’s a FAMILY resort. The worst I’ve ever had and been to. Aqua park: where? And what? I wouldn’t class this as an aqua park just having 4 slides & a small kiddie bit. They have a park on site which didn’t even have swings on like advertised. Air conditioning was none existent may as well of not had any. We had complained 3 times over ant infestation in our room during our two week stay. Nothing was done. Upon arrival, front of house staff were very rude. Due to a mistake on their behalf and giving us a faulty room to begin with, it was 11am and we wasn’t assigned another room until after 2pm. We booked a private transfer for 4 people, 4 suitcases and a pram. They only sent a small car to which our luggage had to be separated and we had to wait nearly 3 hours for half of our luggage to arrive. The beach: none existent. It’s dirty. The sea is minging. There was an incident with a small child (not mine) he had fallen out of a high chair and cut all his head. - no medical room or medical trained staff in sight. They didn’t have a clue what they were doing! If you wanted to do anything or travel out it would cost in taxis as there absolutely isn’t anything to do in the hotel. Nothing at all. The dining lay out is just to small for the amount of guests they accommodate- same around the pool. For how many guests they have staying, nothing is anywhere near big enough. To get a sun lounger in a morning it was a 5/6am job to make sure you got one. Nothing at all is how it’s advertised. All looks amazing & and very up there- don’t be fooled, it isn’t! I would not recommend this hotel to anybody. So if you’ve booked I’d definitely recommend booking elsewhere. Not the experience I hoped for for my children’s first holiday. Doesn’t even deserve a 1 star. 🤢🤢🤢🤢

Would not even give this hotel a 1* Hotel corridors smell like urine, the family rooms are above a night club which has loud music and your room will vibrate untill 5-6am! The restaurant has around 10 different dishes that is it. Not much to eat at all The shows are absolutely terrible there’s hardly anywhere to sit down and watch and the shows are not good at all. They tell you no information on arrival you have to find this out yourself We were there not even 5 minutes and the amount of guests I heard that had complained about something was ridiculous

The location was quite remote, however there were lots of taxis outside the hotel that people could use to go about the town and the taxi drivers were very friendly. The staff at the hotel were extremely friendly and helpful and helped us out a lot and for that we really appreciate it. The atmosphere was very chill and relaxed, which is good. They have a main swimming pool, a very shallow children pool and almost like a water slide pool. The pools in the hotel were clean and even though we would sometimes go to the pool late, we were able to find at least one free sunbed to use. The rooms do not have toothbrushes so make sure you bring your own, but our room was pretty good, we had a good nights sleep every night, as once the entertainment ended at around 11 pm we were not able to hear anything from our hotel room. The food was okay, had a decent amount of variety, for example, at dinner there was at least something different from the previous nights dinner and in my opinion there is something for everyone at breakfast, lunch and dinner. However, the queue for the buffet can be a bit long All in all what really made our holiday was the staff. They were all extremely friendly and helpful and honestly I really enjoyed this holiday!
