Overall, we had a very enjoyable stay at this hotel. The gardens are beautifully maintained, the beach is immaculate, and the grounds create a lovely, relaxing atmosphere. The staff deserve special mention, they are attentive, friendly, and always willing to help. Service throughout the hotel was consistently excellent. The food in the main restaurant was good, with plenty of choice, and we particularly enjoyed the beach BBQ. Unfortunately, the two à la carte restaurants (Italian and Tunisian) were disappointing. While the service was excellent, the food lacked flavour and felt rather bland. I thought the food in the main restaurant was better. The cocktails were also a let-down, being overly sweet and not particularly well balanced. However, the beer and wine selection was perfectly acceptable. The main pool is attractive and spacious, although I was concerned by the number of guests who appeared to use the pool instead of the nearby toilet facilities. If you have mobility issues, be aware that the smaller pool may be difficult to access as it can only be entered via metal steps, with the first step being quite a long way down. The main pool is much more accessible, with a gradual walk-in entry. My biggest criticism was the check-in experience. After a long journey, we had to wait around three hours for our room to be ready, which was frustrating and not the welcome we had hoped for. Despite a few shortcomings, the beautiful grounds, excellent staff, and beachfront location made for a pleasant stay overall.

Great location, amazing big rooms with all amenities including walk in wardrobes. Staff are fantastic and friendly nothing is annoying issue for them. Unreal variety of food. Will be back

Our holiday at the Steigenberger Hotel in Tunisia was nothing short of wonderful. The property itself is well-maintained, with spacious rooms and a relaxing pool area that made it easy to unwind. The dining options were excellent — every meal felt fresh and thoughtfully prepared, with plenty of variety to keep things exciting throughout our stay. The highlight, however, was the entertainment team. They went above and beyond to make guests feel included and entertained. From morning activities to evening shows, they brought so much joy and energy to the hotel. Their professionalism and friendliness created a warm, welcoming environment that made the holiday truly memorable. If you’re looking for a hotel that offers great food, a lovely setting, and an entertainment team that really cares about making your stay special, the Steigenberger is the perfect choice.

This is my 3rd time staying here this year. I solo travel and just enjoy the luxury of this hotel. The premises and rooms are good, excellent in my opinion but the reason I return is very much the staff. From arrival you are made to feel welcome, the reception staff are courteous and helpful. The bar staff go beyond and are very helpful and look after your every need ( thank you Othmen and the pool bar staff). There is daily room service and the ladies who keep my room spotless and in order are just lovely and so helpful. The food is delicious and varied with an exquisite choice available each day, well done to the chefs, amd this is complimented by the servers who basically treat everyone with kindness and respect. I have to mention the entertainment, there is something to watch each night, but these guys work so hard during the day to provide an experience second to none. ( Special thanks to Adem, Cho Cho and of course Lala , these lovely people go above and beyond to make us guests feel welcome and entertained). The hotel has a spa, go get yourself covered in algae with a massage to finish, its luxurious amd pure bliss. There is a gym, which I have used and have benefitted from good guidance from some of the animation team who have been off duty but still have been helpful and happy to guide and teach in using the equipment. Overall I do recommend this hotel, but only because the have a culture if friendliness and kindness coming from their staff. Its the people, the good people that make this hotel worth visiting.
