Steigenberger Marhaba Thalasso Hammamet

Lovely hotel straight on to the beach with great facilities which we booked through TUI Really enjoyed the themed restaurants The staff were welcoming and friendly, Ahmed in the main restaurant was friendly, kind and always there to assist during the meals. Enjoyed the evening acts and shows, the daytime entertainments team were great with a good variety of activities programmed every day. Many thanks to Sam and Sisco especially who were always keen to involve us in all the sessions, they clearly enjoyed their jobs and always made time to chat, genuine great guys!

The hotel was okey but food wasnt too good

A nice hotel but not five star. The staff are excellent especially in the restaurant. The beach was nice as were the pools. Make sure you take cash as they ask for this for a pool towel deposit and the hotel ATM did not work during our ten day stay. The food was good with a nice selection. Desserts were great but there were very limited options for main meals for vegetarians. One thing to avoid is booking trips through the concierge. We did this and had a very poor experience. Overall, this venue offers very good value for money.

We had a brilliant holiday at the Steigenberger. A special mention to ALL of the staff at the hotel. They are so friendly and couldn't do enough for you. Jamel at the beach bar went above and beyond! The entertainment team were fantastic, with so many good activities for everyone. The beach was beautiful and the pools were great! The only downside was the rooms. We stayed in the bungalows and they were slightly dated, could do with some refurbishment.

My wife and I are just recently back from a wonderful 7 night stay here. What a gem this hotel is ! First time in Tunisia for us and we are so glad we chose here. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left we were very happy. No fault on any aspect of our stay, we even got a better located bungalow upon check in. The hotel is very clean throughout, our room was cleaned immaculately and fresh towels each day the lady looking after the rooms in the bungalow block to the left of the main pool as you come out the hotel did a superb job. The food is of great quality and plenty of it so much choice we were so full at each meal. We sat in the same section of the main restaurant every morning and evening and were looked after brilliantly by Wajdi and the rest of the team in there. We ate at the bbq area at lunch and again so much to choose. Shout out to the chefs too ! Facilities were great including a decent enough gym to keep on top of some fitness whilst indulging. Pool staff amazing ! Very attentive including life guards always making sure peoples sun loungers were set with cushions each day, bar staff always making sure we had drinks. All in all a great stay and we can’t wait to book again. Thank you to all the very friendly staff making our trip so good.
