Tropicana Club & SPA

We spent a lovely week end od august at Hotel Tropicana in Monastir and were absolutely delighted with our stay. Our whole family enjoyed the holiday — the atmosphere was relaxed and very family-friendly. The animation team was superb: energetic, friendly and great with both kids and adults. They organised fun daytime activities and entertaining evening shows that became the highlight of our days. The local food was tasty and varied — we enjoyed trying several traditional dishes and found the quality consistently good. Overall we felt well looked after and would happily recommend Tropicana to other families looking for a cheerful, activity-filled break.

Everything was terrible, I would never go back in my life, the food was very disgusting, the staff was not friendly at all, even though it was all inclusive they made it a point to ask why we were asking for so much, the hotel room was dirty if you didn't leave tips for the maids they didn't change your sheets the towels were on the floor I can't say enough, an unpleasant experience

If I could give this place zero stars, I would. Tropicana Resort was an absolute disaster from start to finish. Don't let the glossy photos fool you — this place is a rundown, chaotic mess that should be avoided like the plague. First off, the staff. Rude, unhelpful, and completely uninterested in doing their jobs. Check-in took over an hour, and no one seemed to know what was going on. When we finally got to our room, it was filthy — I'm talking stained sheets, a moldy bathroom, and a stench that hit you like a punch to the face. Housekeeping? Nonexistent. We had to beg for clean towels, and even then, they looked like they’d been used as car rags. The food was even worse. The "buffet" looked like it had been sitting out since last week. Flies everywhere, undercooked meat, and a salad bar that smelled like something died in it. I wouldn’t feed this food to a stray dog. And don’t even get me started on the “beach.” It’s basically a littered patch of sand next to murky water that smells of sewage. Broken glass, cigarette butts, and plastic everywhere — definitely not the tropical paradise they advertise. The pool was overcrowded, cloudy, and probably hasn’t been cleaned in months. People were drinking IN the pool, and it reeked of chlorine and cheap alcohol. Everything about Tropicana screams neglect and false advertising. It’s a tourist trap that survives on tricking people with nice Instagram photos. I left early and booked a room elsewhere just to salvage what little was left of my vacation. In short: Tropicana is dirty, chaotic, overpriced, and downright depressing. Do yourself a favor and stay far, far away.
