AQI Pegasos Resort

What a place! The staff, facilities, pools, food all fantastic. Room - nothing special, but has air con, balcony, a good sized bathroom and comfortable beds. Cleaning is every day except Tuesdays when that is their environmental day. Towels changes every three days unless you request otherwise. I was on the 4th floor in a room for 4 people. Facilities - pools and aqua park are brilliant. There are two indoor pools, one with a jacuzzi, numerous outdoor pools and the aqua park. Life guards are on all day. Loungers being reserved can be an issue, but guest relations will sort for you if there’s a problem. The beach is the cleanest I have ever been on, the water is shallow, there is not one stone. We hired a cabana for the day, it was so relaxing. There are also two gyms, two games rooms, a bowling alley and pool rooms. Bars - you never wait long to be served and most of the time the staff will come to you. Cocktails are nice; it’s efes if you want beer and soft drinks are branded. There is also drinking water stations all over. Restaurants - brilliant, food is outstanding and the food and beverage manager (Ismail) is the nicest person you’ll ever meet, he honestly can’t do enough for you! I could write for days about this place, all In all I have had a brilliant time, didn’t want to come home and will return.

Beautiful hotel ruined by poor service, unfair practices and disappointing standards This hotel looks beautiful on arrival — the location is stunning, the grounds are immaculate and the hotel itself is extremely clean. Unfortunately, the experience after that was a huge disappointment. The biggest issue was the behaviour of fellow guests. We experienced people pushing past, barging through queues and showing very little respect for others, including my child. The atmosphere felt intimidating and unpleasant, which is not what you expect from a family holiday. The sunbed situation was an absolute nightmare. The hotel has a sunbed policy, but it appears to be completely ineffective. Every day was a battle to find somewhere to sit, with all beds taken by ghost towels. I personally witnessed guests tipping staff and then having sunbeds held for them, which was incredibly frustrating and felt completely unfair to families who were following the rules. When I raised these concerns with Guest Relations, the response was extremely disappointing. Instead of feeling listened to, I felt treated like I was being a nuisance. The conversation became uncomfortable when comments were made about my nationality rather than focusing on the actual concerns I was raising. The solution offered was to “help find a bed” or pay €50 per day for a cabana. This felt unacceptable — guests should not have to pay extra to avoid a problem that should be managed properly by the hotel and they have a policy in place for. The all-inclusive service was also disappointing. During our 10-night stay, drinks were only offered to us at the table once. It felt like guests who tipped received noticeably better attention, which is not how an all-inclusive holiday should feel. The food was another let-down. Despite the size of the resort, the quality was disappointing and did not live up to the standards you would expect from a hotel of this size. It is such a shame because the hotel itself is beautiful and has so much potential. However, a beautiful building does not make up for poor guest management, inconsistent service, unfair sunbed practices and disappointing food. We left feeling frustrated rather than relaxed, and we would not return.

Overall, we had a very pleasant stay at this resort. One of its biggest advantages is the location—it’s just a short walk from the sea, making it easy to enjoy the beach whenever you like. Families with children will especially appreciate the water slides and pools, which kept the kids entertained every day. The facilities are well maintained, and there’s plenty to do for younger guests. The staff were consistently friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout our stay. Whether at reception, in the restaurants, or around the pool, everyone made us feel welcome and was happy to assist. The only downside worth mentioning is the noise if you book a land-view room. The nearby highway can be heard, particularly with the balcony door open or during the night. If you’re a light sleeper, it’s worth considering a sea-view room instead. Overall, it’s a great resort for families thanks to its location, excellent facilities for children, and genuinely friendly staff. As long as you’re aware of the potential highway noise in land-view rooms, it’s a place we’d happily recommend.

Awesome hotel and fantastic holidays! It was our first time in Turkey and we hope to go back. :) Big shout out to Ric and Gabi on Animation, Rada and Dania on Aqi Services, Mehmet at the Turkish Restaurant and general help and to the fabulous team at Aqi Resort Beach Front Bar. You guys are all fabulous and made our time in Alanya extra special. Our big tip is to get a Cabana for the full week. Chilling out by the sea for hours on end really was the highlight of the holiday for us! Cabanas 7 and 8 are great for sand lovers, whilst cabanas 11 to 15 are fabulous if you don't like sand and would rather be closer to a full bar, ice cream parlour, toilet and pool
