Arum Barut Collection

Having stayed at the Barut Lara which is in the same Hotel group, I had high hopes for this hotel but sadly it didn't deliver. The swimming pools were freezing - even the 'heated one'! Even the children struggled to get in and although they enjoyed the swimming pool foam party they were blue due to the cold when it finished. Unlike the Barut Lara where there is DJ Beach vibes at the Bar on the beach at this Hotel the Beach bar is detached from the beach as there is a public promenade separating the Bar from the Beach. On a positive note our 2 bedroom suite was a good set up for a family of 4 and the restaurants were generally good. We did a la carte Breakfast one day but I wouldn't recommend this at all. There was only one waiter and he messed up the order completely! Food arrived cold and not what we ordered. In fact all of our party needed up leaving the restaurant and going back to the buffet restaurant.

It was with trepidation I booked our third visit to the Barut Arum this year, surely the previous years' exceptional facilities and level of service were unsustainable and this would be the year that some aspect of our stay would be less than 100%? My fears were unfounded, our stay was just perfect! The beach bar at sunset is my most favourite place in the world and while I could write at length about the food, rooms & facilities, I'll just say they are all exceptional. The thing that really makes our holiday are the staff who are without exception friendly, caring, professional and although they all deserve a mention, we did want to say thank you to Emre, Hasan Oz, Haci Ali, Serkan, Gazi, everyone at Petunya and also Derya - we missed you, but hope to catch up later this year as we've already booked to return.

This was our 6th visit to the Arum Barat hotel over the last 5 years. We usually go outside of the main holiday period to ensure we do not get caught up with families and young children. It is a brilliant hotel, the staff are the friendliest we have ever come across in almost any hotel we have holidayed in. No matter what you are looking for, the staff will ensure that if they can do it, they will. Nothing is too much bother. However, this time our room was on the 2nd floor which overlooks the main dining area. This proved to be extremely noisy especially the early hours of rhe morning after the midnight buffet is on. We did not complain at the time, but I know if we did they would have found us a better room. But that was our choice. If anyone chooses to holiday here you will not be disappointed.

We had an amazing family holiday in mid October. The hotel itself is beautiful and immaculately clean. The food was amazing we never struggled to find something delicious to eat. The themed evenings mean that the food is varied and always fresh. The thing that made the hotel for us was the staff. I went to Pilates every morning and the teacher was wonderful- sorry I did not get her name. She was caring and encouraging to the people of all abilities in her class. Our favourite place for lunch was Bonsai, the food is great, the view is beautiful and the staff couldn’t have been nicer. A huge shout out to Emre Ozden, his service was exceptional, from ensuring we had a big enough table for the five of us, looking out for my littlest boy whilst he got an ice creams / drinks etc and remembering our drink orders before we had even sat down. He is simply one of a kind. He really made our holiday and our boys were always keen to sit where he would be serving. A huge thank you from us. Overall a wonderful hotel, fabulous food, great room selection for bigger families and the BEST staff. We can’t wait to return.

I stayed here for a week with my family in November and we had the best time. The hotel has a heated pool so it’s not too cold to swim, all the staff are so friendly and welcoming and always happy to help in any way they can. The manager Bekir took a lot of time to speak to us and get to know us and was amazing, as well as Ilker Can who was our waiter most nights. He was always looking for anything he could do to make us more comfortable and it made our experience. The hotel itself is beautiful and in a very good location. Would love to come back!
