Arum Barut Collection

Recently returned from our 12 day holiday at the Arum. Once again a fabulous time! We have visited each year for many years now often twice so you can tell how much we love it. We are never disappointed. And this is why. Fabulous location, beachfront on a lovely sandy stretch, with a really good beach bar on the promenade, relaxing sunny spot in the daytime and great vibe at night time if you fancy a change from the entertainment. Also recommend the walk along the promenade to Side town, all seafront and a great opportunity to explore the massive ongoing archaeological dig. The whole hotel is set in beautifully kept gardens which appear to be manicured they’re so neat. There are 3 pools and everywhere is spotlessly clean - inside the hotel and out. The staff work so hard to keep everywhere immaculate. We particularly enjoy the food ( and drink), so much choice, all good quality and freshly cooked. Everyone is catered for, vegetarian, gluten free, children and special requests if you can’t see what you need. Nothing is too much trouble. And the à la cartes never disappoint. Great menus and perfect service, a credit to those who run them. We stayed in a premium suite as a treat and were given a beautiful room, very modern, overlooking the pool and out to sea. Recommend room 1324 This holiday we treated ourselves to the spa for massage and would definitely recommend. Alper was open to a little negotiation on the price and the girls gave a first class massage. Well worth it we thought. Each year the hotel closes for 3 months to carry out refurbishments and this year we returned to a restyled buffet restaurant and lounge bar area. Massive improvement we thought, very modern and relaxing. All the above makes for a great hotel but the actual holiday is down to the staff. Personable, friendly, determined to make you welcome and give the best experience. Too many names to mention, but they are all an absolute credit. The management team too make themselves visible on a daily basis, always checking in with guests to ensure all is well. A great touch. The staff and the service in every area is the reason we find ourselves returning year on year. As you can guess we can’t recommend this hotel highly enough. We’re already looking forward to September.

Mum & Dad were on holiday here when Dad was rushed into hospital for a life saving emergency operation . Staff at the reception & guest relations desk were so helpful & concerned for our wellbeing . I flew out with my sister to assist mum & Dad in their hour of need . Wasn’t a holiday for us but rooms were clean & spacious , food was delicious, well presented & plentiful , all set in an ideal location . The reception staff helped us to contact my parent’s travel insurance ALL CLEAR , who were only available to contact on a U.K. landline ! The implications of this being we were unable to phone ALL CLEAR from any of our mobiles ( Turkey being outsider the Eu roaming zone ) communication with ALL CLEAR proved impossible, so it’s only down to the Hotel reception staff that we were able to make contact . My parents booked the hotel through Jet2 , who provided little to no help to my mother . The rep , Tolga , while a pleasant young chap , was totally out of his depth , in the job 2 months , with no prior experience of a medical emergency. No offer to use Jet2’s communication in resort ( ie a phone that could contact the uk ) indeed , when their area manager , Andrea coulson put in an appearance at the hospital, on the 10th and final day of my parents holiday , she informed me that “ Jet2 can’t be responsible for my mobile bills” which I found both patronising & offensive . Allowing us to use their company mobile would have been the minimum level of service I’d have expected . Oh and the jet2 rep thought it would be a good idea to inform my mum that “it was a 5 day national national holiday in Turkey & ALL hotels & flights in Turkey would be booked up ! Thanks to the staff at the hotel !

We stayed here for one week with our extended family, everybody had a great time especially my nephew who has sone special needs, he loved playing darts with the lovely Boris who was so accommodating and made us all so welcome, we spent another week straight after as a couple and could not fault the food or the service we received, all the waiting staff are fab but special thanks to serkan (we love him) Mustafa (always so professional and polite) Burkan-Buse (hope the spelling in correct here) makes the best cocktails and could make anything your heart desires and Omar too. It’s always the people that make it special for us. Also our room was great so spacious and immaculate! Thanks to all the staff for such hard work xx

We have loved our stay at the Arum Barut. The food, drinks and staff are amazing. Great service throughout the hotel. Special mention to our friend Bekir, the food and beverage manager and the guest relations team, for ensuring our stay was perfect. We will be booking to return as soon as we get home. See you all next year!

Stayed with wife and 6 year old daughter for 10 days, rooms were okay and decent size and clean, although childs bed was a camp bed. Restaurants were the buffet and 3 a la cartes turkish, asian and international. Food and service at all of the a la cartes were amazing. Several large pools available and waterslides for kids. Beach is really nice and with soft sand and a lovely breeze on the jetty out into sea with bar at the end for hotel guests. Special thanks to gulce (barbie), chiko and juila from the kids club who were really lovely and kept our daughter entertained all week with plenty of activities during day, we couldn't keep her out of there by the end of holiday, Thanks again!
