We had a wonderful vacation at Arykanda Kirman Premium, and I can honestly say it was one of the best all-inclusive experiences we’ve ever had. Everything was excellent. The food was delicious and incredibly varied, with something to suit every taste. The desserts and fresh fruit were outstanding every day. The drinks, both local and international, were of high quality, and the bar staff were always friendly, professional, and attentive. The rooms were spacious, modern, spotlessly clean, and serviced every day. The entire hotel was exceptionally well maintained, with great attention to cleanliness in all areas. The beach was clean, the sea crystal clear, and there were always enough sunbeds available. The pools were fantastic, making the hotel perfect for both couples and families with children. A special mention goes to the entertainment team. There were fun activities throughout the day, and the evening shows were professionally organized and truly enjoyable. The atmosphere around the hotel was welcoming, relaxing, and full of positive energy. The staff deserve the highest praise. Everyone was polite, smiling, and always willing to help, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived until the day we left. Overall, the value for money is outstanding. This is a hotel I would happily recommend to both couples and families looking for a high-quality holiday in Turkey. We would definitely love to come back! A big thank you to the entire Arykanda Kirman Premium team for making our holiday so memorable. See you again! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Hotel Review – Overall Experience 1. Hotel, Rooms and Housekeeping The hotel itself is very beautiful, modern and clean. I would like to give a big positive mention to the housekeeping team and the staff who work directly with guests. The rooms are spacious, attractive and, most importantly, clean. The housekeeping staff genuinely made a great effort to keep the rooms in very good condition. Whenever we requested fresh bed linen, it was changed, even on a daily basis when requested. There were occasional situations where we had to remind staff to replenish the minibar, but whenever we reported an issue, it was usually resolved within 10–15 minutes. Overall, the housekeeping team deserves real praise for their hard work and attention to cleanliness. 2. Food and Kitchen – A Major Disappointment Unfortunately, the food was by far the biggest disappointment of our stay. For a hotel that presents itself as a premium five-star resort, we expected a much higher standard. In our opinion, the food selection was extremely limited, repetitive and simply not what we would expect from a hotel of this category. The buffet was surprisingly small, with very little variety. The food was repeated day after day, and there was rarely a feeling that we could choose something completely different from one day to the next. After two weeks, the dining experience became extremely boring. On many occasions, the food also appeared as though it had been sitting out for too long. For example, cold meats were often visibly dried out around the edges. Food that should have been served hot was frequently only lukewarm or completely cold. Even fried eggs, for example, were sometimes served cold, which was extremely disappointing. The quality of the meat was also inconsistent. Some meats were so tough that they were almost impossible to eat. This was particularly disappointing because we stayed at another hotel the previous year for a very similar overall holiday cost, and the difference was enormous. The restaurant there was much larger, the selection was far more extensive, and the food was consistently fresh. There was also an outdoor grill with freshly prepared meat, which made the dining experience much more enjoyable. Considering the price we paid for this holiday, we expected a significantly higher standard. If the price had been two-thirds of what we paid, perhaps our expectations would have been different. However, for the price of a premium five-star holiday, the food was simply unacceptable in our opinion. Food for Children Another major disappointment was the lack of a proper children’s food corner. There were some bowls containing what appeared to be plain boiled chicken and vegetables in water, which did not look particularly appetising. The presentation and choice were extremely poor compared with what we had experienced in other hotels. The previous year, our children ate extremely well at the hotel we stayed in. There was a dedicated children’s selection with freshly prepared food such as meatballs and small cutlets, prepared with children in mind and without excessive spices or strong flavours. Here, our children – who are nine years old – practically survived on plain pasta, chicken nuggets and chips throughout the holiday, simply because there was very little else available that they would eat. For a premium family resort, we expected much more attention to children’s dining. 3. Kids Club – Another Major Disappointment The Kids Club was another significant disappointment. The staff working there appeared to have very little enthusiasm or engagement with the children. The general impression was that they were simply present because they had to be, rather than genuinely interested in entertaining or interacting with the children. We also had a particularly disappointing experience when our nine-year-old children visited the Kids Club and were told that they were too old to be there. This was despite the fact that the Kids Club was advertised as being for children aged 5–12 years. I immediately reported the situation to management, and they apologised and acknowledged that this should not have happened. However, unfortunately, the experience had already discouraged my children from wanting to return to the Kids Club. Another issue was that some arts and crafts activities required an additional payment of €10 per child. For a premium five-star family resort, I find this very difficult to understand. At the hotel we stayed in the previous year, where the overall holiday cost was very similar, activities such as colouring T-shirts and other creative activities for children were included in the price. This was therefore another unexpected additional cost and a further disappointment. 4. Ventilation and Mould Upon arrival, we noticed that the ventilation system in our room was visibly covered in mould. We reported this immediately because, in my opinion, simply cleaning the visible surface is not an adequate solution. I could stand on a chair and clean the outside myself, but the real concern is what is happening inside the ventilation system and whether mould is present internally as well. Spending two weeks in a room with potentially mould-contaminated ventilation is a serious concern, especially from a health and hygiene perspective. In my opinion, ventilation systems in hotel rooms should be regularly inspected, cleaned and properly maintained to prevent situations like this from occurring. 5. Communication and the Overall Atmosphere Another issue was the very limited communication in English. My overall impression was that the hotel is primarily focused on Turkish and Russian-speaking guests. This was noticeable not only from the entertainment programme but also in everyday communication with staff. A significant number of employees, particularly some of the waiting staff, had very limited English or did not understand basic requests. This made simple situations unnecessarily difficult, for example when asking for an additional glass, plate, juice or other basic items. I would like to stress that this is not a criticism of the individual employees themselves. Many of the staff members appeared to be working extremely hard, and I understand that some of them are from Uzbekistan and other countries. The issue is the lack of effective communication and, in my opinion, insufficient staffing and training. We were also told by one of the employees that the hotel was experiencing staff shortages and that working conditions and salaries were not particularly attractive. If this is the case, it may explain some of the difficulties we experienced during our stay. The entertainment programme also seemed to be heavily focused on Turkish and Russian-speaking guests. For example, during pool activities, my husband and a friend wanted to join a game with other guests, but they felt that they were largely ignored and not included. The evening entertainment and disco also consisted predominantly of Turkish music and Russian rap. We did ask the DJ to play more international music, and eventually a few international songs were played, but the selection was still very limited and not particularly suitable for dancing. 6. Positive Points – Drinks and Lobby Staff There were, however, some definite positives. One of the biggest advantages was the excellent selection of imported alcoholic drinks, which was certainly a strong point of the all-inclusive offering. I would also like to give a very special mention to the lobby bar staff. The guys working there were genuinely fantastic. They were friendly, helpful, professional and always tried their best to assist guests. They deserve a huge amount of recognition because, despite appearing to be extremely busy and under pressure, they consistently provided excellent service. The housekeeping team also deserves a lot of praise for their hard work and commitment to keeping the rooms clean and comfortable. 7. Overall Recommendation Unfortunately, despite the beautiful hotel, clean and spacious rooms, excellent housekeeping team, good imported drinks and some very hardworking staff members, the negative aspects of our stay significantly outweighed the positives. The biggest problems for us were: Very poor and repetitive food selection. Food that was often lukewarm or cold. Food that sometimes appeared to have been sitting out for too long. Poor quality and preparation of some meat dishes. Very limited food options for children. A disappointing Kids Club with little enthusiasm from the staff. Additional charges of €10 per child for some children’s activities. Mould visible in the room’s ventilation system. Very limited communication in English. Entertainment that appeared to be heavily focused on Turkish and Russian-speaking guests. A lack of variety in the entertainment programme. We also noticed that the neighbouring Shafir Hotel appeared to offer a much wider range of activities for children, including outdoor children’s facilities and more entertainment options. From what we could see, the children’s food area and main restaurant also appeared to be significantly larger. We checked the prices for the same period, and the alternative hotel was reportedly around £2,000 cheaper than what we paid for our stay at Arykanda. This made us question whether the price-to-quality ratio at Arykanda was really justified. I have also heard very positive feedback about other hotels within the Kirman group. A friend who stayed at Kirman Belazur told me that, in her opinion, the standard there was significantly higher. I understand that Belazur is in a considerably higher price category, but this comparison nevertheless made us question whether Arykanda truly delivers the premium experience that its five-star rating and branding suggest. Final Verdict Would I recommend this hotel? Unfortunately, no. Although there are some genuine positives, particularly the beautiful and clean hotel, the housekeeping team, the lobby staff and the selection of imported drinks, the overall experience did not meet our expectations for a premium five-star family resort. Considering the price we paid, the standard of the food, the limited children’s facilities and entertainment, and the other issues we experienced, I would not choose this hotel again and I would not recommend it to friends or family. In our opinion, there are other hotels in the area that offer a better overall experience and a much better price-to-quality ratio.
