Barut Goia

Third time at they barut goia and it was the same as the previous two, excellent. Nice food, great friendly staff and very clean complex so we had a great time. My main contribution in this review is to put to bed any fears about the beach bar/restaurant as I have read lots on barut goia forum's where people are panicking for no reason. So from information I have gained through asking staff and witnessing the area first had this is the situation. Firstly as i understand it the local government wanted to standardise beach facilities the hotels from before the goia all along the beach to side old town I counted seven. So all the old structures have been demolished and replaced with seven identical replacements all with the same footprints. Tbh if you have been before you would know they were all different some looked good some not so good. So the new beach bar itself is different in appearance but offer exactly th same food and refreshments by the same friendly staff on exactly the same tables more or less in exactly the same place, so don't worry. The new area has a mobile kitchen all singing and dancing stainless steel which must have cost a fortune but is not a permanent structure. The salad bar etc is still in operation . The bar is not as big but offers exactly the same service with the same drinks on offer cold and hot also ice cream etc. There is a brand new toilet and shower block male section was spotless and more up to date. The bus still drops you off in exactly the same place. Also I counted 121 umbrellas x by 3 beds = 363 beds for beach goers, WiFi was nice and strong even on the front row of beds but never tested wide to the side. So if your going for the first time you won't know any different but if your a regular embrace the change as it looks like it's been forced. Lastly some fine tuning is still going on like new sun canopys being added decking for tables etc so it's improving all the time. So every thing is new so it's new to the staff so please show some patience with the staff. Just the final lastly please treat the beach with respect as you still see people leaving rubbish under beds when plenty of bins are available. I do pick small plastic up bottle tops straws when I'm walking back from the water as ever little helps. So ther you go hope this eases any fears, enjoy your hols at the amazing Baru Goia.

Even one employee can ruin a good impression of a hotel. I've previously read complaints about this same employee in reviews, and unfortunately, our family encountered him. The Yildis spa employee doesn't support the Barut hospitality policy, is rude to guests, and refused to call the manager when resolving issues. I'm very sorry that just one employee ruined our impression of such a wonderful hotel; everyone else was very kind to us.

Absolutely fantastic hotel which we couldnt fault. Every single member of staff is so polite and accommodating. Entertainment staff work so hard. Showtime !!! Never had one undecent meal - kebabs in Alea restaurant are to die for! Cant wait to cone back next year
