Barut Hemera

We had the most incredible stay at Barut Hemera and honestly couldn’t fault a single thing. From the moment we arrived, the service was exceptional. The team went above and beyond to make everything easy and comfortable for us, even arranging a VIP transfer which made the whole experience feel extra special. A huge thank you to Fatima, who cleaned our room every single day to absolute perfection. Walking back into such a spotless, fresh space daily made a real difference to our stay — her attention to detail was amazing. The food and drinks were another highlight. Everything we tried was delicious, with so much variety and quality throughout. It was also great to see that the drinks were all branded, not the cheap alternatives you sometimes get at all-inclusive resorts — such a nice touch that really shows the standard they maintain. Overall, this was a truly relaxing, high-quality experience and we felt so well looked after from start to finish. We’ll definitely be returning

This is our second time staying here . Barut Hemera is a excellent hotel in every way . The staff can’t do enough for you , they are friendly and professional . . The food and service is outstanding . Every where is clean and spotless . You will want for nothing in this hotel . I would like my thanks passed on to all members of staff at the hotel . We stayed at the Barut Hemera 3 years ago and decided to go back after visiting some other hotels, for example the Paloma and Delphin chain, but these just aren’t for us, too big, too much noise and below par on some fields . But Barut Hemera ticks all the boxes! If you look for a relaxing holiday with good food and drink options, Barut Hemera is the place to be! The whole atmosphere is so relaxing and chill. The staff are genuine and professional and they know you preferences right away. Big plus for us is that the summer season kicks of on April 1st and not on may 1st like most hotels. This means that every night there is entertainment. Shows at the beach bar and live singers at the pool bar. All the restaurants and bars are also open. Heated pool in april is a must and this is also done at the Barut Hemera. Special shout out to the ladies at the miniclub. They are so lovely and sweet. Our son didn’t want to leave. All I can say is, see you next year Barut Hemera.

We have just returned from a really special stay at the BARUT Hemera. For context we are from the UK and I am in my 30s and travelled with both parents who are in their 60s. We have been very fortunate to have travelled to 5* properties across UAE and elsewhere but the BARUT Hemera has been the most memorable stay so far. I spent a lot of time researching different hotels before booking and am so so glad we went with BARUT. The check in was smooth and we were upgraded to a swim up room which was such a pleasant surprise and a thoughtful gesture as I had emailed them beforehand telling them the trip was for a special occasion. The room was great and fully equipped. The property itself is so well maintained and has a really classy feel to it. The decor is lux but very understated. It almost feels like you are in a luxury resort in Europe. There are probably other bigger chains in turkey like Rixos etc which have a more grand feel when you compare the photos online, but the ambience created here at BARUT is one you have to feel. The à la carte restaurants are amazing and they kindly let us try a few of them during our stay. There are plenty of places to get food during the day and multiple bars which have good quality branded drinks. The cocktails are excellent. The breakfast could be better with more fresh fruits as this was probably what was the only thing lacking. The patisserie was just divine. We loved the Italian restaurant but they are all very high quality. Great location in side with harbour and town centre around 30-40 mins walk and also a promenade of shops in front of the hotel. We spent most of our time in the resort and did not get bored. The entertainment in the night was nice and the live singers were great. It wasn’t all to my taste but they cater for a wide range of people and there is something for everyone. What sets this place apart is the staff and the overall ethos. Everyone seems to be trying to do their best to make your stay comfortable and they genuinely go out of their way. All of the staff are just fantastic and so so kind. It is truly commendable how they are running this organisation so flawlessly. They have thought of everything. Thank you BARUT Hemera for allowing us to make such precious memories. To anyone who is deciding which hotel to book trust me just go for this.

Very much enjoyed visiting the Barut Hemera for a very relaxing week. Probably not the best for older teenagers but great for couples, and.younger kids. The key positives are the staff, probably the best service we've had out of 5 or 6 different Turkish AI hotels we've visited over the years. Welcome was done very well, better than any other hotel we've been to. Food and drinks very good especially the international a La carte which we thought was the best a La carte we've been to anywhere in Turkey. Also went to Turkish a La carte which was nice, especially the mezzies but service not quite as good. It's not a super large hotel which is nice for a more chilled holiday but as a result the food choice isn't as large as some hotels such as Liberty Lykia where we went last year. The quality is very good though. Main thing I missed food wise was some nice tasting smoothies, they only did some veg based "detox" ones which although healthy were horrible tasting, a choice of just a fruit based smoothie would have been nice. The cut fruit selection in buffet could have been a little better as well. Cocktails were pretty good esp in lobby bar and didn't really need to go to the bar at hotel as staff table service was so good and quick. QR codes around pool to order drinks also worked well. Rooms were generally fine, not the largest but fine and beds were comfy. Although the drains did smell a bit in our room. I suspect that maybe only affected a few rooms. They did fix a towel rail that had become loose very quickly and without even asking, I think the cleaner noticed. Beach area was nice as well, not too cramped and looked the highest quality of all hotels along the prom what I could see. Gardens and planting very nice and definitely made really nice use of the space. The pattiserie was lovely to have a drink and cake with a varied and quality selection. The 1 heated pool was fine to get into for April, some people in other pools but too cold for me. Would be fine later in the year. Side centre around the harbour and Roman ruins definitely worth a visit, about 30-40 mins walk along the prom with lots of shops, bars and restaurants. All in all a great location and would return, looked to me like the 3 Barut hotels in Side (Hemera, Cennet and Arum) definitely looked the most inviting of all hotels the prom.
