We recently stayed at Belek Beach Resort for 12 nights and had a fantastic holiday. For the value, this hotel is great in many ways. I have stayed at numerous hotels in Turkey, including Concorde De Luxe, Jiva Beach Resort, Voyage Torba Bodrum and others, so I was able to compare this hotel against some well-known resorts. Rooms We stayed in the Elite Block (13+ section) and had a standard room. At reception we were offered an upgrade to a swim-up room, but we didn't take it as we don't spend much time in the room. The lady at reception wasn't pushy at all. The standard room was extremely modern due to the Elite side being built in 2022. We had all the necessities needed such as a mini fridge stocked daily with water, Coke, Coke Zero, Sprite, sparkling water and various juices. We also had a kettle, safe, pool bag provided by the hotel and a good-sized balcony. The rooms were extremely modern and comfortable, however they were slightly smaller than some others I have stayed in. We also found the wardrobe space a little lacking. That said, this wasn't a major drawback and we found the rooms very comfortable overall. Pool Throughout our stay we spent the majority of our time by the Elite Pool. The vibe here is very chill and relaxing. The sunbeds are padded which is a bonus and there is also a bar close by. The area was always kept very clean and the service was excellent. We also spent a couple of days by the main animation pool. This side of the hotel is completely different to the Elite side and almost feels like a different hotel. The pool here was great fun with multiple activities such as aqua gym, pool games, inflatables and a foam party. There is also a quieter pool next to the animation pool. We personally didn't see the need to use it, but I can see it being useful for families who want a bit more peace whilst still staying close to the activities. Bars The hotel has numerous bars. I won't go into detail on all of them but we had a good experience at every one. There is a wide range of drinks available and the standard of cocktails was fairly consistent throughout the resort. A special thank you to Umut at the Elite Pool Bar. He served us throughout most of our stay, made excellent cocktails and provided brilliant service. The hotel are lucky to have a barman like him. We also got served by Can on the Elite side for a day or two. He was also very good and clearly a hard worker. We used the Elite Lobby Bar frequently which was good. However, we felt the service could be improved slightly, especially compared to the Main Lobby Bar where the service seemed more efficient and attentive. Food The hotel had good food throughout. In fact, we were surprised by how good the quality was considering the price point. The food was fresh and we ate pretty much everywhere, including à la cartes. To sum it up briefly: Elite Buffet - Food was fresh and slightly better quality than the main buffet, although there was less variety. Still there was a variety of meats, frutis , ice creams etc. Main Buffet - Food was still fresh and good, but it could get very busy. It did however offer more variety. I do think the hotel should introduce some themed nights as the buffet became a little repetitive. Burger Restaurant - Very good fresh burgers. Better than some burgers I've had at premium hotels. Carretta Snack Bar - Only ate there once but enjoyed it. Elite Bistro - Ate here most days. Food was very good and served to your table. It felt more like eating in a restaurant than a snack venue. Pizza, fish and chips, soups, sushi, curry, pasta etc. Everything was cooked fresh and was very good. A special thank you to Ahmet. He was fantastic throughout our stay and was a cut above the rest. Very hardworking, polite and efficient. The hotel is genuinely lucky to have a waiter of his standard. Patisserie - We went to the Elite one. The cakes were very nice and flavourful. We stayed at La Blanche Island the year before and compared to there the cakes here were significantly nicer. It was also a nice place to grab a coffee and a cake during the day. À La Cartes We visited the Steak Restaurant and it was excellent. I had the T-bone and it was one of the best meals of the holiday. The €30 supplement was worth every penny. There used to be additional charges but it appears the hotel removed these following guest feedback. Well done. We also visited the Italian. It was decent for a hotel à la carte. Not the best Italian I've ever had but it was a nice change from the buffet. The steak there was very good. Unfortunately the Asian was a bit of a disaster. The food wasn't great and they even forgot to serve one of our dishes. It may have just been a bad experience but we didn't enjoy it. Overall the food offering is excellent for a hotel at this price point. I would just like to see themed buffet nights introduced. Beach The beach was okay. It was sandy until you got into the sea, where there were some sharp rocks. Even so, we still enjoyed spending time there and swimming in the sea. I’ve been to better beaches, but also worse ones. Photos Marcus took our holiday photos and we were very pleased with them. He was a nice guy, hardworking and made the experience enjoyable. Guests The main guests seemed to be Russian, German and British. It’s a very international hotel and we found the atmosphere friendly and relaxed. We even made a couple of Russian friends during our stay, which was a nice part of the holiday. One thing to note is that, because it’s an international hotel, some waiters have limited English. However, this didn’t cause any major issues and we noticed language barriers existed for other nationalities too. Entertainment We really enjoyed the animation team. The pool games and darts competitions were great fun and helped create a good atmosphere around the resort. The evening shows were enjoyable, although there is perhaps room for improvement compared to some larger premium resorts. Overall, however, we were very happy with the entertainment on offer. Overall Overall we loved this hotel and would happily give it five stars. It does exactly what it sets out to do and caters well for families, couples and older guests alike. The Elite section was excellent, but there is also plenty going on across the wider resort if you want a livelier atmosphere. I don’t often return to the same hotel because I like trying new places, but this is one i would potentially visit again.
Amazing hotel. The hotel has plenty of quiet, peaceful spots where you can relax. I also really enjoyed the healing yoga sessions. Meditation is relaxing and energising. I’d also like to mention the friendly staff, many of whom speak several languages. Thank you all for this wonderful holiday
A honest review of Belek Beach Resort Hotel. The hotel itself was good, very clean and staff always ensuring plates, cups and glasses are taken away promptly. Pool area and slides are very good for the kids and they thoroughly enjoyed it. Beach isn’t great, it’s more of a stone and pebble beach rather than a sandy beach but was overall clean but the kids didn’t like the stones on their feet even with the water shoes on. Entertainment in the amphitheatre was poor, not worth going to watch in our opinion even the kids wanted to go after about 10 minutes. Entertainment on the green area (main stage) was better especially the Boho Night. Food was disappointing, we arrived late evening and was told to head to the Side Restaurant which was the late night restaurant (21:30-01:00) which had poor choice, the food on offer was lamb neck, chicken and vegetables which wasn’t very appealing, for a late night restaurant I would just expect something light like toasties and snacks rather than a full meal. Evening buffet food in the Main Restaurant again wasn’t great, food was okay but the kids weren’t very happy. I would say the hotel doesn’t cater towards to the British, a lot of meat stews and fish on offer which wasn’t very appealing. You get one A’La Carte restaurant visit during your 7 night stay, we visited the Italian restaurant which I wished we didn’t, the food wasn’t good and staff couldn’t speak good English so struggled with the language barrier. Overall disappointing on the food front. This hotel is currently rated 4 Stars, overall the hotel is nice, modern and clean rooms, resort is well maintained but lacks the food options and entertainment in the Amphitheatre. When going all inclusive I feel the food is a big thing and for this reason I would not return to Belek Beach Resort.
We stayed on the elite side of the hotel. We ate and dank over this side as I wasn't a fan of the under 13s side. The pool loungers were far more comfortable and the restaurant had nicer wine glasses. I know that sounds shallow but its just what I like. We stayed here for a week. I wish we'd booked for 2 weeks. We had a very relaxing holiday. The food was nice, the drinks and staff were brilliant. They have a mixologist going round the tables at night. It wasn't an extra cost at all but we did tip him. His name was Muhammad Ali ( yes he was named after the boxer we asked). He was brilliant. His cocktails were made with real fruit juice not a fruit concentrate and you could really tell the difference. The rooms were spacious and really nice. The one thing that really spoiled our holiday was the balcony faced a car park. So we couldn't sit out on the balcony having a drink so the balcony was pointless. I think this reason will put us off rebooking, which was a real shame because we loved the place. I wouldn't hesitate to book if I knew I wasn't getting a carpark facing balcony.
