Botanik Platinum

I am writing this to warn all families, especially those with children. Our son had a minor foot injury on the beach. We went to the hotel doctor just for disinfection and band aide. The physician exaggerated the situation, said the boy needs to be seen by a hospital physician to make a shot of tetanus vaccine and possibly apply some stitches. He convinced that everything is organized, no worries, they will take care of everything including transportation. It turned out to be an ambulance car. At the hospital, I learned that the clinic was private (the doc at the resort didn't tell us it was a private one... where state health insurances are useless). They charged us 600 Euros for a single tetanus vaccine and a poorly applied band aide (no stitches were needed). They wouldn't even give me information about the vaccine, let alone a label on a paper, until I specifically asked and insisted to get a packaging from it. I discovered it was a simple tetanus booster that would have cost us in our country 45 Euro including the nurse injection work. The doctor administered it without the Tetanus-Immunoglobulin serum, which is medically required for a new vaccination. This means the 600 Euro 'treatment' was medically inappropriate and left our son unprotected, endangering his health. Transportation back was in a regular minivan and we waited for 40 min to collect about 8 other patients - they were dropped at 4 different resorts. This is not an isolated incident; it is an organized operation. They can rest assured authoritative bodies will be notified of our case. I just hope this won't happen to other guests who still decides to go to Delphin Botanic Platinum hotels/resorts.

The food was delicious with a great variety every day. The hotel has a beautiful, well-kept territory and relaxing atmosphere. Everything was clean, comfortable, and perfectly organized. Highly recommend for a peaceful and enjoyable vacation!

Food - plentiful and tasty, you can eat 24/7 if you want. We ate at Mexican Al carte one night as per our stay, was tasty. Buffet is awesome. Something for everyone. Food never ran out, didn’t matter what time you visited. Waiting staff too, friendly and efficient. Never waited for drinks for very long. Am missing the fresh fruit already. Rooms - our lovely housekeeper kept our room immaculate and incredibly clean ( Baktygul Zineryi Meriyem), thank you so much for the lovely towel / duvet art. Pools - spotless, water and surrounding areas, cleaned constantly through your day, no spilled drinks, no rubbish, drips from pool mopped up regularly) we didn’t get his name but we sat mostly at main pool 5, but it was kept immaculate. Thank you so much. Skater team - again at main pool 5, our skater guy knew our drinks order by second day, made us feel special and catered for so well. They were great with our boys too despite the language barrier, they always made us laugh. We had a two bed interconnected room, two bathrooms, located beside lobby bar, it was wee but noisy till 11pm every night, we didn’t mind that much. Room comfy and great balcony for 5pm sun and beer. We just wanted to thank everyone at the hotel for an amazing holiday. We loved Turkey, we loved the food, loved the people, loved the hotel. There was a slight language barrier, the Russians and Germans seemed to be the favoured guests but being Scottish we were quite happy to do our own thing. Hopefully we will return. Always something to do onsite, always something going on, quiet pools or busy pools, whatever you fancy. Back and pier awesome too.

The hotel was nice and clean, the rooms were as expected and I was provided with all the necessities as expected, couldn't fault the service of the staff one bit during my stay, they were all very friendly and professional and were always more than happy to help. There is a number of delicious À la carte restaurants all situated within the hotel and they were phenomenal, my two personal favourites being the Mexican (Sabor restaurant) and the Italian (Vivaldi restaurant). However, the Italian did have the upper hand in my opinion. First off, let’s start with the starter, I opted for “three-coloured tortellini”, it was phenomenal, the best tortellini I’ve ever had, was stuffed with a lovely ricotta cheese and was in a sauce that had a very subtle flavour profile yet complimented the tortellini perfectly, already off to a 10/10 start. Next up we had a grilled ribeye steak, it came with the most amazing mashed potatoes that tasted sensational, the steak itself was covered in a demi-glace sauce that was phenomenal when paired with everything on the plate. The ribeye earned a solid 10/10 and as if that wasn’t enough, I finished my plate and the server came back and said “another?” and genuinely gave me another plate of ribeye steak, phenomenal service, phenomenal food, 11/10. And the finale of all finales, a chocolate lava cake, that came with stracciatella ice cream and oh my word, it was sweet, it was chocolatey and it was oh so perfectly balanced. A perfect conclusion to an outstanding meal, you guessed it…. 10/10

We have spend a wonderful time in Botanic Platinium. The food was exceptionally good! Rooms were always clean, minibar was refilled daily. The crew of the hotel made their best to make every moment the time of our life. We will definitely come back!
