Club Big Blue Suite Hotel

Good morning, I don't often write negative reviews, but I have to in this case. I got very seriously sick, and my partner did. Two days later, we only ate at the hotel. The rooms look like the pictures, but they weren't clean. The toilet was yellow and the taps were covered in stone. Even the mirror in the room wasn't wiped clean when we arrived. The service was very nice, that's the only positive. We took trips to Cappadocia, but we ended up not going anywhere. We were on antibiotics, lying in our room for two days, and then on a lounger, drinking only water and eating crackers.

We would love to leave a review for this fantastic littel family hotel. Rarely have we been so satisfied after a vacation trip as we were this time. Everything from cleaning to all-inclusive buffets to the treatment from all staff - every thing is top- notch. In addition there is a gym that you can use without having to wait for access to machines. We stayed at Hotel Club Big Blue in Alanya in October as a couple, and we were very happy with our stay. The food was delicious, varied, and always fresh – with plenty of options for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Everything tasted great, and the restaurant staff kept everything clean and tidy, quickly clearing tables and dishes. The pools were well maintained and cleaned daily, with a lovely sunbathing area – especially the one by the side pool and the terrace. The beach is close, and you can enjoy beautiful sunsets from there. The promenade leading toward Alanya’s center is quiet and charming – perfect for evening walks. Our room was clean, well-equipped, with regular towel changes and housekeeping. The staff deserve special praise – everyone was friendly, smiling, and helpful. The reception staff spoke good English, and the restaurant team was equally polite and attentive. There were various evening animations – we especially enjoyed the dance show. The fashion shows with small voucher “prizes” weren’t exactly our thing, but they were short and not pushy, so they didn’t disturb the overall experience. To sum up – it’s a great hotel for anyone looking to relax in a quieter part of Alanya, away from the hustle and bustle of bazaars, yet close to the sea and lovely views. We usually don’t return to the same places, but we would definitely recommend Hotel Club Big Blue to our friends without hesitation.

The hotel is very clean, and the rooms are cleaned daily. Despite the posted signs encouraging water conservation, towels are replaced every day. The staff keeps the entire property tidy and maintains a high standard of cleanliness. They are also helpful — although there was a mistake with our room assignment, it was resolved relatively quickly. The rooms vary significantly in standard, so I assume some of them are still awaiting renovation. As for the food unfortunately, it was quite poor. There are some good moments, especially at the Snack Bar when they fire up the grill or the wood-fired oven, but overall, the meals in the main restaurant are disappointing compared to the delicious food available in town. All-inclusive drinks are limited to vodka, gin, and raki. “International” beverages require an extra charge of about €10. Wi-Fi is theoretically available in the lobby, but in practice, it doesn’t work. In-room Wi-Fi costs €2 per day. The safe is also subject to an additional fee. The pool is very cold and hardly ever warms up, so few people use it. We spent most of our time at the beach instead. The beach is located about 500 meters from the hotel and can be reached via a busy street. The hotel’s beach is gravelly, with a very rocky and slippery entrance to the sea, so water shoes are definitely recommended. Hotels closer to Kleopatra Beach are a better option — you can get there by bus in about 20 minutes (the fare is 50 lira one way per person). In the evenings, various entertainment shows are organized: themed performances, magic shows, live music, and a final “music by request” segment. After 11 p.m., the hotel becomes quiet and peaceful.
