WORST HOTEL IVE EVER STAYED IN! Summary below NO AIRCON SOMEONE POO’d IN MAIN POOL 5 DAYS RUNNING STAFF LAUGHING IN OUR FACE FOOD AT MAIN BUFFET DISGUSTING PUT IN ROOM THAT SLEEPS 4 (WHEN 5 OF US) We booked last minute due to recommendations and people advising online of the Turan being a good hotel with decent food. Firstly we arrived and the room wasn’t set for us (3 adults & 2 children) - no cot was in the room and a secondly bed wasn’t made for my 4 year old daughter. We then were advised that room only sleeps 4 people but there was 5 of us and the reception staff were unwilling to do anything to help. Skirting board was off on the floor, live wire box open in the room & hair/dirt on the bedding. After the maid had came to the room to set it up for us (whilst we were in the room) - we realised the aircon wasn’t working. It was approximately 9:30pm. We were absolutely sweating along with being crammed in a room that was far too small for 5 people. We returned to reception to advise we wouldn’t be staying in that room and mentioned the aircon issues, which the receptionist confirmed there was an outage in our block. Still unwilling to do anything to help or change us rooms. Baring in mind I have a 4 year old daughter & 5 month old son. He said we would have to return to reception at 9am and ask for an upgrade! An upgrade to a room that not only doesn’t fit us all in, the air cons broke. We ended up having no choice but sleeping in that room for the night as they wouldn’t help us at all. Our son was up crying all night, we had no sleep due to having no aircon, the bedding was actually damp due to the condensation and our son came out in a horrendous heat rash which we needed to go the pharmacy to get some cream. The complex they put us in was also the furtherest away in the full facility and was a 5-8 minute walk to the main pool area and facilities. After returning to reception the following morning, we were advised there was no rooms available other than the VIP junior suite in the Select Villa area although he’d confirmed there was standard rooms available in the main hotel. The VIP area has its own pool and private restaurant. Very different to the hotel, it’s like a completely separate complex. To upgrade to this was £1100 but they had 20% off so would cost £835 in total for 6x nights. After reviewing the room available and the fact it was spacious and had working air con we had no choice but to pay the money so we could immediately be moved and get our 2 children settled. I would like to say the staff in this section were absolutely unbelievable and couldn’t do enough for you. Definitely gave you that VIP feel and having the swim up room was a great and flexible option with having children. We didn’t need a VIP suite though. We would have been more than happy with a change of room with working aircon and room to fit the 5x of us in but reception put a blocker on anything and made it awkward for us. Anything to get some extra money out of us. We genuinely had no option but to take the only “option” they said was available so we could settle our children and have fully functioning aircon. We then found out a family of 4x was upgraded FREE of charge to a 2 bedroom duplex room, not only on the night they arrived but also after we were told there was no other rooms available than the VIP suites. The reception staff were rude. They didn’t help and they laughed at us. They thought it was one big joke. They wouldn’t allow you to speak to the hotel manager although he was there and available. 5/6 full days we were there - the main pool was closed due to someone pooing in the pool. One of the days, the poo remained there for 8 hours!!! I wouldn’t go in that pool if it was the last thing I had to do. And the staffs response? “These things happen, kids poo” please believe me this was not a child’s poo. I would honestly avoid this hotel like the plague unless you’re booking into the junior suites in the Seclect Villa option & even still, have zero contact/expectation with reception or the main hotel because they will not help you in the slightest. All we heard was people complaining during our full time being there. It’s not acceptable after paying £4000 for 5x people. Our son was free because he’s under 2. So that price was for 3 adults and 1 child (4 years). That was for one week but we actually lost a day as the flight coming home was 8:30am in the morning. The hotels marked as a 5x star but in reception has a plaque up confirming 4x star. I honestly would rate this 3 STARS ONLY - it is far away from a 5x star hotel. Would never come back.

We stayed here two years ago August 2024 and enjoyed it very much, so we booked it again for August 2026, The hotel is now in need of an update, We found the air conditioning to be practically none existent. we complained about the air con in the room as it wasn't cold , yes they came and looked at it said it was fine now, still rubbish after that set at 17 the lowest setting just felt like a fan blowing air at you. All the air conditioning in hotel was the same when it's 38 + degrees you would expect to be able to cool down, in our opinion it was like it was set to the minimum output, We weren't the only ones with a problems with the air conditioning, several other guests had the same issue. They would also clean the lobby floor when everyone was going to the restaurant for dinner, the floor was wet through to the point it was dangerous, first of all my daughter fall on wet floor, then we witnessed a man do exactly the same , I made the bar staff aware as this was dangerous, yes clean the floor but do it when less people are about ie later in the night , ,The hotel was really nice two years ago, in our opinion it has dropped it's standard's. it is not as so it was new when we first stayed there, It's not even a cheap hotel costing around 5k for 3 of us so you would expect better, unfortunately it would not be somewhere we will return to . The rooms are very good quality here the housekeeping is brilliant and can I mention the rooms are pretty modern. But on some occasions the staff can be a little bit rude. The location is brilliant because it is a 5 min walk from a Mediterranean beach. For 7 grand for a family of 5. The atmosphere is amazing because there is 2 pools which is good but it’s warm most of the time so you won’t cool down and they are closed sometimes because of poo which makes the pools unhygienic but all round it’s pretty decent.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this hotel! ❤️ From the moment we arrived, everything was amazing. The hotel is beautiful, the surroundings are well-maintained, the rooms are clean and comfortable, and the staff is incredibly friendly and helpful.
