Crystal Flora Beach Resort

Stay: July 2026 I honestly don't understand why this hotel receives so many positive reviews on Google Reviews and TripAdvisor. In my opinion, it definitely does not deserve a 5-star rating. I would rate it as a solid 3-star hotel at best. We were given a small, dark room (No. 5126) with an unpleasant smell. There was mold on the grout in the shower, and the drain barely worked. The water drained so slowly that it overflowed outside the shower cabin and flooded the bathroom floor every time we took a shower. The hotel allows pets to stay in guest rooms, so if you are allergic to cats or dogs, please be aware. My husband is allergic to dogs, and he developed an allergic rash every single day during our stay. The restrooms by the swimming pools were consistently dirty and had a very unpleasant smell. The biggest disappointment was the main restaurant, Aspendos. It was completely chaotic, and most of the staff could not speak English, making communication very difficult. About 30 minutes before breakfast was due to end, the staff had already started clearing away the food, and glasses were often unavailable. While guests were still eating, employees were mopping the floors, even pushing their mops under guests' chairs. On one occasion, I almost slipped because a staff member started mopping the floor directly in front of me. The vast majority of the hotel staff do not speak English, which makes communication unnecessarily difficult. Even the Guest Relations employee spoke very limited English and struggled to remember the names of the days of the week. Frankly, I find this unacceptable. Employees in guest-facing positions should be able to communicate effectively in English with international guests. On several occasions, even though we addressed the waiters in English, they replied to us in Russian. In an international hotel that welcomes guests from all over the world, English is the international language of communication and is used by the vast majority of international travelers. I would expect the staff to adapt to the language their guests are using instead of automatically assuming that Russian should be used. **Pros:** * Stunning location, with the Taurus Mountains on one side and the Mediterranean Sea on the other. * Beautifully maintained gardens. * Great water slides. * The spa was excellent, and the massages were outstanding. Special thanks to George. * The waiters in the à la carte restaurant, as well as the bartenders at the rooftop bar and the café next to the souvenir shop, deserve recognition. Although some of them also struggled with English, they made up for it with their friendliness, positive attitude, and genuine willingness to help. * The housekeeping team was one of the positive aspects of our stay. They worked very hard, maintained a predictable cleaning schedule, replenished the minibar every day, and replaced towels daily. We truly appreciated their effort and attention to detail Unfortunately, despite a few positive aspects, our overall experience was disappointing. The hotel simply does not live up to its advertised 5-star rating, and we certainly would not choose to stay here again.

A very lovely atmosphere. The staff were very welcoming. It was very clean everywhere. The lifeguards were great, too—they helped me every time I got out of the pool or needed to move into my chair.

We had a fantastic stay and couldn't have been happier with our experience. From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always willing to go above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. The facilities were excellent, especially the pool, which was spotless, relaxing, and a great place to unwind after a day of exploring. The hotel was well maintained, comfortable, and had a great atmosphere throughout. Overall, this was an outstanding stay, and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend this hotel to anyone looking for great service, excellent facilities, and a relaxing getaway. We look forward to returning on our next visit!

We had a wonderful stay and would happily come back. What stood out the most was how well everything was thought out. You can tell a lot of care has gone into every detail of the resort, which made it feel special from the moment we arrived. Everything was very clean and the staff were so kind and helpful. A special thank you to Mr. Ilhan for his warm hospitality and professionalism from the first moment we arrived. The location is very convenient, close enough to the airport without feeling too busy. It was also nice to have a few small shops both inside the resort and just outside nearby. The concept with two store buildings surrouded by trees, plants and flowers, instead of a big hotel, felt exclusive and the rooms were comfortable, very clean and had everything we needed. The beach was beautiful and the atmosphere around the resort was relaxed and enjoyable. They have live music on the second floor of the lobby, great songs and performers and also on the stage. The spa is one of the highlights of Crystal Flora. Sue was amazing and George was so friendly, fun and helpful. He gave us a great deal on the massages and they were absolutely worth it. As for the food, it’s similar to what you’ll find at most all-inclusive resorts, but there were some real standouts. The sushi was surprisingly good, the fresh orange juice available throughout the day was a lovely touch, and the grilled food section was excellent. Overall, we had a great experience and would definitely recommend this resort to anyone looking for a relaxing holiday with family.

Nice location, the rooms are spacious, nice, clean and obviously include ac
