Our stay started on a very positive note. Check-in was quick and smooth, and when we arrived around 3:00 PM our room was already ready. While checking in, we were welcomed with juice and Turkish delight, and the staff also helped us with our luggage, which made for a great first impression. The room was spacious and comfortably accommodated our family of five. The size was OK for us, although having only one bathroom was sometimes a little inconvenient. The biggest downside was the bed. The double bed was quite hard, which unfortunately affected the quality of our sleep during the stay. Housekeeping was somewhat inconsistent. Sometimes we placed the "Please clean the room" sign on the door, but no one came. On other days, housekeeping entered even though we had not requested it. The quality of the cleaning also varied from day to day. Sometimes they only made the beds, while on other days they also mopped the floor. It wasn't a major issue for us, but more consistency would certainly improve the experience. One thing that became frustrating during busy hours was the queues at the restaurants and bars. It was quite common to see some guests bypass the line instead of waiting their turn. Unfortunately, the staff rarely stepped in to manage the queues or direct guests to the end of the line, which felt unfair to those who had been waiting patiently. I would have appreciated if the staff had paid closer attention and ensured that everyone was served in the order they joined the line. That would have created a fairer and more pleasant experience for all guests. One of the hotel's biggest strengths is its wide selection of restaurants and bars. There is always somewhere to eat or have a drink, and one restaurant is even open 24/7. Until midnight, you can spend time with your family in different bars depending on whether you want a cocktail, coffee, tea, soft drinks, or dessert. There is also a disco for those looking for evening entertainment. Overall, it's very difficult to get bored at this hotel. The food was good and offered plenty of variety. Every day there were new dishes to try, although some favorites reappeared throughout the week. The main restaurant is large with plenty of seating, but if you arrive between 7:00 PM and 7:30 PM for dinner, you may end up sitting quite far from the buffet due to the number of guests. The pool area is large, and the water park was excellent, especially for families with children. However, if you are traveling as a group and want to sit together, it's important to reserve your sunbeds early in the morning, as they fill up quickly. Although the hotel grounds are relatively compact, there is still plenty to do. However, you should not expect a large resort where you can take long walks around the property. Once you leave your room by elevator or stairs, you are immediately at the pools, restaurants, and bars. The staff deserve recognition for their hard work. Most of them genuinely tried their best to provide good service despite how busy the hotel was. I was especially impressed by those from Indonesia. They were always smiling, friendly, and eager to help, and in my opinion they contributed significantly to the overall service experience. Would I return? Possibly, but definitely not during peak season, especially not in July. The hotel simply felt overcrowded. There was hardly anywhere to relax in peace, and it often seemed that the number of guests exceeded what the hotel could comfortably handle in terms of staffing and overall service. I believe the experience would be much better during a quieter time of the year. Overall, we had a very enjoyable holiday, and the hotel has many strengths. The food is varied and tasty, the selection of restaurants and bars is excellent, the water park is fantastic, and the staff work incredibly hard to make guests feel welcome. On the other hand, there are areas that could be improved, particularly housekeeping consistency, bed comfort, queue management during busy hours, and the overcrowding during peak season. I would especially recommend this hotel to families with children or anyone looking for an active, lively resort with plenty of entertainment throughout the day and evening. However, if you are looking for peace, quiet, and a more relaxing atmosphere, I would strongly recommend visiting outside the peak summer months.

Location was great for the Ruins amd the unbelievable sunset, plenty of shops around, the atmosphere in the hotel was lively but had quiet spots of you didn't want to get involved, the rooms were cleaned every day with fresh bedding and towels, the entertainment was great and always tried to get people involved but we're also respectful if you'd rather not. I would recommend for a family holiday.

This is our second time visiting Crystal Sunset hotel. We last visited 2 years ago. This is a great hotel for families. There’s a variety of activities from the pool, water parks and kids club. The guests and food is predominantly Turkish but we really enjoy that and the variety. So many al a carats restaurants to choose from which keep our boys happy.

Awful hotel and experience. We have just returned from a 10 night stay here and its the worst holiday I've ever had. We travelled with my wife and 3 children; Food & drink The food is terrible especially in the main buffet restaurant. Really poor quality and re used food throughout our stay. The kids section offers 3 choices in total. We starting going to restaurants outside of the hotel ( the golden fizz is brilliant) on only our 3rd night. The crispy chicken is ok at lunch time but serves exactly the same food everyday. One of our children is registered disabled and when we used the designated disabled section to eat we were hounded and questioned everything. When this took place I did not see staff challenge any turkish/Russian or Dutch families. We stopped eating at the hotel after few days ( im not a fussy eater at all) because the food was so bad.There are only 2 bars serving the massive pool area, 1 in adult only section which has 1 person working it ( and they look angry when you ask for a drink and sit on the floor behind the bar to have a cigarette) and the other is the harbour bar. So to get a drink when by the pool is a small trek. Pool & aqua park Our kids loved the aqua park and it was generally ok. The pool is a different story. During our 10 day stay the pool was shut / temporarily closed on 5 days due to people pooing in the pool. It doesn't help that the 2 baby pools are not sectioned off from the main pool but on 1 occasion the incident happened in the main pool. Staff tape off an area of the pool and that's it. No cleaning or extra chemicals used, just remove the poo, tape it off then open it after a few hours. Rooms Rooms are dark and small and a "family room" is not fit for 5 people. They dont clean the room the just change the towels Staff & other guests 99% in this hotel dont have any manners. Horrible rude and selfish. Waiting for the lift ( with a baby in a pram so count use the stairs if i wanted to) and everyone will just barge past with no concern at all. The atmosphere is miserable and tense and staff are mostly useless. Only Mehmet in the harbour bar showed genuine customer service and was brilliant with my family. Lifts Only 4 lifts for the whole hotel ( 1 went put of service on 7th day) and not fit to serve 9 floors, cam take 15 minutes just for a lift to arrive on your floor and when it does, its full. How this hotel is advertised as 5 star ill never know. Its 3 at best. Its like a pontins in the sun. During our stay with the hygiene issues throughout, our 3 children ended up in hospital, all on drips due to a bacterial infection and were in a terrible state Horrendous stay. We stayed in the Arum Barut collection hotel down the road in 2024 and this was outstanding. Only reason we didnt go back here was only had 3 slides for kids I could go on an on but I can only say dont come here. Loads of people complained after a couple of days due to how poor everything was.

So we arrived this evening and really disappointed so far. Our family room is terrible the kids are right by the balcony with a single catch to get out of the door, there’s literally 2 beds in there absolutely nothing else not even a bedside table literally nothing so we are all sharing one wardrobe that’s not even a full wardrobe. The bed sheets are non existent there’s a single throw on the double that will barely cover a person. We arrived late about 10pm and the food was disappointing too. To be fair I have spoken to reception who said nothing they can do tonight but to come back tomorrow so I will update my review based on tomorrow but it won’t be a first good night sleep that’s for sure and literally there is one wardrobe so unpacking is pretty pointless. The room is tired and dated and as mentioned thrown 2 beds in a room doesn’t make it worthy and worst of all the safety is ridiculous.
