Delphin Be Resort Lara

First of all - just book Rixos Premium Belek instead. We booked a two week stay in April 2025 and we were drastically underwhelmed. We wanted to leave/change hotels after the first few days. The main downfall for us was the lack of quality food. The buffet food was 2/3* at best, the healthy food section consisted of boiled processed chicken cubes and overcooked rice (for example). Everything else was over salted and poor quality. The a la cartes were just plated dishes from the buffet, very poor (with the exception of the Turkish restauarnt). The booking system for the restaurants is truly shocking. You have to be up at 7am to start queueing for a terminal to book the restaurants. Who wants that on their holiday? One day i queued for over an hour. Not the hotel's fault but numerous ppols were shut during the course of our stay due to guests leaving sh*ts in the pool. It's more of an indication of some the the hotel guests i guess. Kids arcade is very expensive as are the playstation 5 terminals (all free at Rixos). Plus points: - the waterpark for younger kids is great as are the slides at the adult waterpark. - some of the evening parties are fun. - lots of food around wherever you go (despite being poor in most instances). - bar staff are quick and helpful as are the staff serving drinks in the buffet restauarnt.

I was very interested in staying at the Dolphin Be Grand Resort in Antalya and was excited about what looked like a fantastic hotel — until I tried to book an accessible room. As a wheelchair user, I require a properly adapted room. Unfortunately, there is no option to book accessible rooms through travel agents or online platforms. After contacting the hotel directly, I was told that the only way to secure a wheelchair accessible room is by booking directly with the hotel, or if I didn’t book directly then I would just have to turn up on the day of check in and hope an accessible room was available! Which is NOT acceptable. The problem? Booking direct is working out around £1,000 more expensive than booking through travel agents for the same dates. This effectively means disabled guests are forced to pay significantly more just to access suitable accommodation — something non-disabled guests do not have to do. This feels extremely unfair and discriminatory. Accessible rooms should be: • Clearly listed on booking platforms • Available at the same prices as standard rooms • Not restricted in a way that financially penalises disabled travellers I’m sharing this to warn other wheelchair users and disabled guests before they get their hopes up and to encourage the hotel to rethink this policy. Accessibility should not come with a premium price tag. Very disappointed.

Amazing hotel, with amazing facilities. We looked for what seemed years to find a hotel we would be happy with (2 difficult teenagers, and their fussy father), which would suit out dietary needs, and provide enough entertainment and facilities for us. Even more important with the weather being soo hot, we couldn't leave the resort. The entertainment staff were brilliant, families extremely friendly, and food was brilliant. Not so keen on waking up and queuing at 8am, with a list of restaurants to be able to try them, but couldnt complain, it got the family up. The only issue I had was the reception and customer experience staff, no information matched, especially when comparing various families. They walked around like they owned the hotel, I overheard them tell our cleaning lady off, and then the manager (Tom) had the nerve to shout at me and call me a liar infront of another guest, as she was caught out telling me different information from another customer sat next to me. just to clarify this is regarding the sister Delphin hotels, we are allowed to visit between certain times of the day. We are not allowed to eat or drink at either hotel, not even bottled water!! We arranged a visit, after speaking to reception, they said we could go to the waterpark, and have drinks and snacks at the pool side cafe. We were allowed onsite, but when entering the pool side at Imperial, we were questioned and interrogated (even after showing our bands, and being in the timeframe, and accompanied by the imperial guests) for 20mins, outside in the midday sun and heat, and with 2 children. They called reception, who called our hotel to check and then let us in, with strict instructions and a guard accompanying us to the pool area. We asked for some water after all that, to be told, drinks are not allowed, and we should have bought some from our hotel! Luckily our cousin at the Imperial ordered some and we had to share undercover. Not what you expect from a hotel at this level. When we spoke to the customer experience ladies (in pink) we were told, that wasnt the case, until we made them watch the footage. needless to say no apology for the way we were spoken to or the experience or compensation. This was on our last day, so it had put a dampener on the stay, which is a shame, as the resort was really well designed, staffed etc in every single way.

I stayed at Delphin Be Grand Resort and wanted to share a thorough and unbiased review to help others considering this hotel. The resort offers a wide range of facilities and experiences, and I’ve broken down each part of our stay so you know exactly what to expect, the highlights, the atmosphere, and any areas for improvement. Food & Restaurants: Positives: - wide selection of restaurants & al a cartes plus 2 paid al a cartes (Tepinyaki & steak) - Nice Turkish food, although on the day we booked the Turkish restaurant it was really windy which made it a bit of a chilly experience, but the food was really nice. - Sushi restaurant was really nice, and to add to the theatre they had a conveyer belt brining the food to you which was a nice touch - Good selection of Chinese food, really enjoyed the Mongolian beef - Also tried the Greek restaurant but this was not my kind of food, but had to try it to know this - We also paid for the steak al a carte which was located on the beach. I’m not a steak lover, but my husband loved his Dallas steak. Steak was cooked really well which some really nice sides - Different themed nights for the main buffet restaurant. - Also scattered around the resorts, there was a churro bar, hot dogs & chips bar, toasties and sandwiches, kebab bar, pizza & pastas. - Nice selection of mortals & iced coffee available at the bars throughout the resort, which was available pretty much all day. - There was also a late breakfast and late dinner service available outside the main restaurant hours. - Waffles available, ice cream rolls - Patisserie - Ice cream available all day - Many of the outdoor bars have little stairs for the little children to place orders for drinks or order ice cream which was a nice touch - Play area in kids seating area small soft play area Negatives: - kids menu on all the al a crates are the same which was a mini burger, a slice of pizza, chips, nuggets and onion rings which my 3 year old son got sick of and didn’t eat after a bit. - Compared to other resorts, none of the sun lounges had QR codes or numbers to order drinks by the pool, which meant you had to wait for a waiter or get the attention of a waiter - This is the 3rd Antalya Resort we have stayed at and this is the first time they have had to flag down someone to order - Booking system for al a crates. This resort only allow you to book the free al a carte via one of the 4 touchscreen kiosks between 9am-5pm. Booking was only limited to same day or the following day, which meant you would have to go back everyday to book for the following day. This meant getting good practice in the British art of queuing early in the morning just before 9am. Again, previous resorts I’ve stayed at, have a booking system of the Ala cartes on their hotel app or via concierge. - Small selection for babies and kids food Children Fun, games & facilities Positives: - mini disco - activities in the kids club - They had evening games outdoors on one of the days - funfair which is open everyday in the evening - outdoor playground - children's cinema - lazy river - games room - aqua park Negatives: - kids club located pass the delphin resort bin washing facility and every time you walk past it smelt really bad which made it a very unpleasant work to and from the kids club - Kids club at the resort were aimed at older kids only from 4 plus and unlike other resort they enforce the minimum age, and my son was told not to play with the lego as he was 3, even though he was sat with his dad playing with it and has been playing with it since he was 2. We also explained my son is quite comfortable with lego but they were not understanding and kept telling us to go - Kids club had a very restrictive timing. They are only open from 10am to 5pm - Everything is shut on Sundays, any shows, kids club etc - Although scehdule was published and we got their on specific times, several times we were told an activity had been cancelled. Even though we went earlier on in the day they did not tell us about that activity going to be cancelled so not sire if it was a last minute thing or not. Room Positives: - Room service did some nice cute design with the towels which was a nice surprise - Nice big mirrors - Drying rack on balcony - Nice selection of stock in minibar - as a non alcoholic drinker they were happy to replace the alcohol drinks with non alcoholic drinks each day. Negatives: - No iron which was a surprise and when contactin guest relations about this they said no irons are available and only a paid laundry service. Make sure you take ironed clothes or your own iron! - No complimentary kids toiletry pack which my son has come to love at Antalya resorts. We were not given anything even after requesting - Balcony door was slightly damaged and not sure if it was just this but you could all the loud music until late at night, which doesn’t help when putting kids to sleep in what is supposed to be a family friendly resort. Unless your kids like to boogie xD. This was a major negative for me - Even with the blinds/curtains they provided, the resort automates lights across the resort, on each floor and each balcony which makes for a nice light show from outside, but inside, the blinds/curtains did not block this out which means you could see constant flashing coloured lights when trying to sleep. - As somebody who was travelling with 2 kids, aged 11 months and.3 years, I wouldn’t say I pack excessively but I struggled for storage space in the room due to narrow shelves. - Not sure if It was just our room but the face of the plug kept falling of the wall.

We came here for October half term week. 4 adults and 5 teenagers. Great staff and lucky to get an upgrade on arrival to the Royal suite. Beautiful views and an amazing room for 5 of us. Sadly the electric went twice but they fixed it very quickly. The teenagers loved the waffles, churros and chips from the food stalls. Lovely beach bar to relax in the afternoon. Had a few great nights with DJs and dancing The shows were not brilliant. But watchable. Cocktails are good..few times we got the wrong order but that was fine. Cabanas are a great treat especially on the foam party day. The a la cartes we visited were the Italian and Mexican. We wasn't too impressed as the food unfortunately wasn't great. Sadly I became unwell towards the end of the holiday and have had tests done to confirm campylobacter infection. I was the only one in our group and I think I was just unlucky or stupid to eat the anchovies that probably had been put out too many times or the seafood risotto in the Italian as thats the only food i ate that no one else did.The food in the main buffet wasn't that great either unfortunately. Overall the hotel itself is good fun but I won't be rushing back.
