Delphin Be Resort Lara

This was the first trip to Turkey for my family and I, and we were a bit nervous in the first instance. This, we learned very quickly, was entirely unnecessary as we were immediately presented with an excellent standard of service and despite late arrival, offered to an area where food and drink was still being served (we later learned that this is available in some format 24 hours per day). We were joined by pre-arrangement by another family who had visited the hotel before, and we were glad to have taken their recommendation. The rooms were clean and serviced daily, both in tidying/cleaning, as well as the minibar, and the layout was very convenient. The entertainment was different every night, and a lot of effort was put into this (both family's 9 year old daughters appreciated the Magician on Friday night, 17th April, especially as this was quickly relocated indoors due to inclement weather). The food was well prepared and very enjoyable, from the main restaurant buffet to the snacks/coffee available in the various shacks on the walk down to the beach. During the day we never had problems acquiring a sun lounger. The bar service was exceptional, and we would like to single out one individual who made our visits to both the main restaurant in the evening and the "Irish Bar" following this, a waiter by the name of Beytulla. His service, friendliness and memory for details are to be admired and we would like the management to be made aware of this and the positive experience he brought to our holiday. There was plenty to walk around and see during the day, the gym was excellent, the "Olympic pool" was good for excercise, albeit very cold-heated pool right next to it though. Our wives enjoyed the daily 10:30 yoga classes and the children loved the water park, having used all the slides. I would recommend this hotel to all families as there is something for everyone. We had a very positive experience at Delphin Be Grand Antalya and would especially recommend it for families with children. What impressed us the most was the huge variety and abundance of food. Most of it was very good, and we were genuinely impressed by the choice available. It was also lovely that every day there were churros, waffles, cotton candy, and popcorn for children. The drinks were very good too. A big plus was the hidden play area in the dining room, as well as the fact that one à la carte dinner was included in the price. We chose the Italian restaurant, and everything was delicious and beautifully presented. This was a really nice surprise, as in previous hotels we did not have any à la carte meal included. The hotel was also very clean. The toilets and dining areas were always well maintained, and anything dropped in the restaurant was cleaned up very quickly. Staff service was generally very good, although it would have been even better if some staff spoke English a little more confidently. The facilities were excellent. The children’s aquapark was very good, and a huge advantage was that it was heated, as well as the additional heated pool. The Kids Club was spacious, well equipped, and had many entertainers, most of whom were friendly and smiling. The aquapark was great for children, although a couple of very small slides for one- and two-year-olds would make it even better. One thing we did not like was the entertainment promotion in the dining area, where the animators sometimes shouted very loudly about the Kids Club and mini disco, which was not very pleasant. We also did not enjoy the hotel ice cream, as it was very chewy and gummy, although it was nice that branded shop-style ice creams were also available. Another lovely detail was how beautiful the hotel smelled everywhere — fresh, elegant, and luxurious. The whole hotel felt very elegant. We also appreciated the beach bags with the Delphin logo, which were very useful. The beach was nice overall, although it could have been a little cleaner, as I once found a small piece of glass in the sand. Whenever we had any issue, the hotel dealt with it very professionally. Out of the three hotels we have stayed in during the last three years in Turkey, this was definitely the best one for families.

Fantastic location, close to airport, beach front hotel, great food, phenomenal staff, great facilities, kids friendly hotel....would recommend!
