We visited Delphin BE Grand Resort twice, first in April 2024 and then again in May 2026, which says a lot because we very rarely revisit the same place. We loved it enough to come back, and there are still many things this hotel does brilliantly. The positives first — the hotel is absolutely spotless everywhere. The staff work incredibly hard and you really are treated like kings, queens, and little princesses from the moment you arrive. The heated kids’ pool and heated outdoor pool were fantastic both times, especially for younger children. The kids club is excellent and the team are brilliant at getting children involved in activities rather than just supervising them. Entertainment-wise, this hotel can be incredible. The foam parties are so much fun, the gala night drone show was genuinely amazing, and the extra themed activities like Candy Land make the holiday feel special and different from other all-inclusives. Even on our second visit we were still discovering new things, like the chocolate counter! The funfair is also brilliant for families — although we really wish it stayed open longer. The Aroma Cocktail Bar is another highlight and definitely worth visiting. However, sadly, our second visit did not feel quite as special as the first. The biggest disappointment was the food. In 2024 we thought the food quality was excellent, but this time it felt very repetitive and much lower quality — more like a standard all-inclusive rather than the luxury experience we expected from Delphin. That was genuinely surprising considering how good our first visit was. We were also disappointed with the children’s evening entertainment. There still isn’t a proper mini disco with well-known songs that families can all join in with together, which feels like a missed opportunity for a hotel so focused on families. Another major issue was the room upgrade situation. We paid hundreds of pounds extra to upgrade, only to end up with unbelievably loud music vibrating through our room every night from either Delphin or the neighbouring Titanic hotel. The windows literally vibrated. For the amount paid, that simply should not happen. Checkout was also frustrating. We received conflicting checkout information from staff and late checkout initially wasn’t facilitated despite the hotel appearing to have plenty of vacant rooms. It unfortunately gave the impression they wanted sea-view rooms cleared quickly to resell or upsell. And finally… €35 for suncream in the hotel shop?! Absolutely outrageous. We ended up going to the pharmacy up the road instead. The most concerning thing this visit was hearing from multiple staff members that they were planning to leave because management has become poor. That was genuinely sad to hear because the staff themselves are one of the hotel’s greatest strengths. Overall, we still had a lovely holiday and there are many magical things about this hotel, especially for families with children. But compared to our first visit, there has unfortunately been a noticeable decline in some areas. PS just don’t even bother with the à la Carte. The stress to actually get them booked isn’t worth it.
We had a brilliant time at Delphin Be Grand as a couple. The hotel itself was amazing and met everything that we thought it would be. The food was brilliant and the rooms were very well kept. The animation team were very good, specifically Volkan. He would always check up on us everyday to see if we needed any help with anything, and how we are finding the holiday. We went above and beyond and I can confidently say he made our trip 2x better than it would have been. If Delphin Be Grand see this, he needs recognition because he was that good.
The best hotel & staf, service also amazing, especially the guest relation team, Housekeeping, F&B, Front office and all other team so wonderful
Just back from a week in this hotel, there were six adults and one child. I have to say we were really impressed with our time here. The food was great, plenty of options of cuisines from all around the world but also for those who are fussy. The dinner time options really impressed us, kebabs, toasties, pizzas, waffles etc the list goes on. The staff are amazing, they’re all so polite and can’t do enough for you. They all work so incredibly hard. A special shout out to the man who cleans the children splash park on a morning, unfortunately I do not know his name but he is absolutely amazing. Such a lovely, friendly man. We loved seeing and talking to him everyday. Rooms are lovely, and everywhere is always immaculate. There are plenty of things to do throughout the day. The only thing that would benefit from a change is the evening entertainment. We felt it was very samey each night and it felt like it was just dancing and acrobatics to similar songs. We did enjoy the live singer on some nights. Overall we absolutely loved this hotel and we would definitely love to come back!
I have already written a review for this place 2 days after arriving, but I have since deleted and have started again as we are leaving today. On arrival impression was good, the check in process was quick and we were given the information we needed. Our room was clean and had everything we needed. Staying on the subject of the room. Cleaning staff would attended daily, but contrary to what I have seen on social media etc, apart from 2 days of our 10 day stay there was only 2 towel displays done. One the day of our check out (check out at 12:00) the cleaner knocked our door at 07:55 in the morning. And then again at 08:15. I was not happy as I have 17 hours of traveling to do and wanted as much sleep as possible before I had to check out. The restocking of the mini bar was also inconsistent. We had been put into the far right tower, 8th floor, on the Titanic side. Now we had been offered a more “romantic room” with “better views” when we arrived for £200, but I thought that was not value for money for the same size room with the only view difference being you look over our hotel pools instead of next doors. Later the first evening we understood why they offer to get you out of that tower. The walls were paper thin and I was awake until near 1pm from the music from the hotel next door, this would form part of the basis for my first review. When the staff got my first review with this information they did offer to move me free of charge to the rooms that we were offered on check in. In my opinion this is a known issue and only when the guest service staff realised I was a reviewer did they offer to move me. The night we arrived we were too late for the main buffet, so we were advised to used the “Irish bar” to grab some food if we were hungry. I didn’t personally find the food that great, apart from the lentil soup which I enjoyed. The other problem was that I thought I was in the wrong place, what an absolute joke to call the area an “Irish bar”, there is nothing “Irish” are “Bar” about it. It’s a space with TV’s showing some sport now and again with a strange bar area. The main lobby bar is visually really great. I then looked through the drinks menu and seen they had Moscow Mule, now this is my favourite cocktail so I was excited, but this became my other problem with guest services. On 2 occasions before my first review I ordered my drink, but they were made with soda water instead of ginger beer (the ingredient that gives it the taste). After I made the first review and I spoke with guest services they apologised and said they would retrain staff the next day and ensure they had everything to make the drink. I then tried another 2 times to get the drink made, but the same mistakes were made and I just gave up. This was really disappointing. Pool areas I was really happy with, as a couple we like to have a pit more quiet and that is achieve able at the relax pool. On the occasions when under 16’s tried to use the pool the lifeguards would politely move them on. The drinks service from the skating servers was good and always with a smile. My only suggestion here would be that the young guy who came round with soft drinks on the bike could alternate between sodas and fruit. All in all I was happy with the pools and service around the pools. I personally found snack street to not be that great. The fries were always soggy. I had a churros but it was overcooked on the outside and not cooked at all on the inside. The oil was clearly too hot that was being used. On a positive note for the snack area, I did enjoy the ice cream stand. Food as a whole was good, I always found something that I could eat even though some people would call me fussy. I attended the buffet for every meal and the standard was high. Again even in the main dinning area there is a non-child area which is good when not with kids. For the a-la-carte we tried the Turkish, Chinese and Mexican. The Mexican was not good. Food came out cold and did not taste great. The Turkish and Chines is worth a visit though. In the evenings my favourite thing to do was sit at the Oasis bar and order a Shisha and Turkish tea. The Shisha man and the wait staff were great. Although service was not as good if you sat next to the actual shisha bar, it’s like the staff forget to go down there. A pet peeve that both my wife and I found was the cleaning staff around the communal areas. The cleaners would often push their carts with no care that they were about to walk into you. Now I know that makes me sound entitled, but it’s just something I have never seen before. Also female cleaners in the men’s bathrooms will linger outside a cubical even when you are going to the toilet then immediately go in after you making you feel really uncomfortable. Also regarding the cleaning, the lifts in the tower we were in were clearly not given the same attention as the ones in the main lobby. The ones in the main lobby were cleaned regular, but the ones we used had dirty marks that were still there for the entirety of our stay. All in all I would say this is a great family hotel. If I was to come on holiday with kids I would definitely consider coming back. Would I call this a 5 star Turkish hotel? Yes Would I call this a true 5 star hotel? No, I have been to 5 stars in Mexico and the UAE, which go that bit more beyond.
