Delphin Imperial

On arrival the first thing you notice is how clean and polshed the lobby is. It is beautiful. At the check in desk there is plenty of staff to deal with you quickly. The staff were very friendly and arranged for a drink for us while we checked in. I really liked this. I felt like we were treated very well. A member of staff took the bags to our room for us. The room was lovely. Very spacious. Very quickly, someone arrived to make the sofa into a bed for the fourth member of our family. We got the view we were expecting (side sea view). The fridge was stocked up with beer, juice, crisps, wavers etc. There were bath robes, slippers and other little items like shampoo, condtioner, etc. The only downside to the room were the beds. They were quite hard. The room was very clean. As you go around the hotel, the decor is amazing. Whoever designed the interior has done an amazing job. The rest of the hotel and the grounds are very clean and well kept. The buffet does not cater for the British too much. Most of the food is things you have never heard of. I like trying new foods, and I am not fussy so I didn't have an issue with it, but towards the end of the holiday I was missing familular foods. When we stayed here, we did notice that it was mostly German and Russian guests. On the other hand, my children are not so keen to try new foods and lived off chips, cheese and rice the full holiday. There was chicken nuggets and soup, but my children didn't like them. The buffet is very repetitve. It is a huge buffet, but they change very little. I am not a fussy eater, but I did struggle to find different foods that I liked. I ate the same most days. The desert cakes that are decorated look amazing, but they do not taste amazing. They are bland and although they all look different, they are all the same taste. The chocolate eattery is very nice. They offer a selection of cakes and chocolates. All were very tasty. We used the night buffet a few times too. It is always the same. Never changes. The only thing I ate off it was some sort of curry. I tried the soup and did not like it. The hotel offers a wide variety of cocktails and drinks. There are plenty of snack places, but they all open at different times. I tried them all. They were all average. Snack foods include, chips, wedges, baked potatoes, sausages, toasties, fruit, salad, vitimin bar, ice cream, ice cream rolls, tacos, etc,. The pool area is well kept and clean. There are plenty of slides and other water related items for the kids to play on and with. One of the pools has a ramp and a set of stairs for people with young kids, disabilites or mobility problems to use. This pool has a small waterfall like feature in it and a jacuzzi. The other large pool is just that. A large pool. There are kids pools too. You get staff coming around and asking if you want to have photos done or a massage during the day. There are cabanas dotted around the pools and on the beach too. They start from 100 euros per day. We booked the one near the pool with the ramp as I have mobility issues. We booked it for 2 days and each day was 130 euros. With the cabana, you get a fan, a call button for a member of staff, a bottle of prosecco in an ice bucket, a fully stocked fridge, additonal and more comfortable beds (2 inside the cabanna, 2 outside and a spare one), a parasol and a fruit platter. I would suggest having ladders or something at the cabanas to make it easier to get in and out of the pools. We did have an issue with a couple who were in the pool. They were being overly sexual with each other. It was completely inappropriate for a family hotel. This is also illegal in Turkey. We noticed it as well as 2 other families. One of which took their children and left because of it (we spoke to them afterwards). My partner asked me to report it to a member of staff which I did. I was not sure if he understood what I was trying to say. I took him over and pointed them out. It was very awkward as there was zero discresion from the staff member. He radioed through to someone, but I had no idea what he was saying. We were waiting to see what would happen and my partner put a translation into his phone o show a member of staff to make sure he knew what we were tying to say. He was very rude towards my partner and shooed him away with his hand. A member of the guest relations came over and said 'sorry about that', left and nothing got done at all. Very dissappointing. I made my own remarks towards the couple as the staff clearly did not want to address the issue and the couple left, thankfully. The last thing I want to be doing on holiday is having to be confrontational towards people to protect my childrens innocence. The staff let us and the other families down big time. We did not see much of the daytime entertainment as it happens in the other pool. We did take part in the pool party which started with the flying man, followed by a floating bar, DJ and a foam party. It was very fun and we did enjoy it. However, some guests had too much to drink and were being very perverted, making disgusting comments about some of the women. Not the hotels fault, but not what I want my children to hear or see and given how the staff dealt with our previous complaint, we didn't see much point in complaining because nothing gets done about it, so we just moved away from them. Afterwards, there was a lot of plastic cups floating around in the pool that people had disguarded. The other daytime entertainment was candyland. This was very overwhelming and poorly handled. The selection and layout of sweets, sandwiches and fruit was amazing. However, when it opened, they took all the barriers down at the one time. People were coming from all directions and pushing in. I lost my kids and partner in the carnage. I ended up leaving because I was on the verge of tears with people pushing me. It was far too overwhelming. When my partner came back with the kids, he said he elbowed someone who kept pushing my 9 year old son to make him stop. The kids came out early as they did not like how aggressive it was. It was a shambles. A one way system or so many people in at a time would have worked much better. Daytime party on the pier consisted of a DJ, lovely decorations, a special cocktail and fresh fruit. It was very fun. A lovely atmosphere and family friendly. We only stayed for an hour, but we really enjoyed it. The night time entertainment was enjoyable. We were lucky enough to see the gala which is only on once every 2 weeks. The drone show was amazing. There was a huge cake that everyone could have some of, dancers, another special cocktail (it was very tasty) and circus like acts. Most of the other night time entertainment was circus type acts. All were enjoyable to watch and family friendly. One of the nights there was a Turkish singer on the pier, I enjoyed it very much. The beach is very clean and tidy. Beds are always available. There is someone with a cart who you can get drinks from and there is a snack bar at the back of the beach. The entertainment team do games on the beach. My son took part in one and had a great time. We spoke to the photographer inside the hotel and told him we were interested in having some photos taken. He said he would come around the sunbeds and speak to us during the day. That day a photographer did come around the beds to drum up buisness. We agreed to meet him that night for photos. Later in the day the same photographer we had spoken to in the hotel approached us and was very cheeky, he told us I told you I would be round and my partner said, yes, we have arranged to have photos done. To cut a long story short, it became apparent that these photographers are all self employed and not all working for the same company. He was way out of order in how he spoke to us. I was gobsmacked. There was absolutely no need to speak to us the way he did. We were not aware of his working situation. Maybe he should have made that clear to us. His fault. Not ours. We had our photo shoot that night after dinner. It was hard work. We had a lot of photos taken and I was starting to wonder why so many. The next day we were told to go to the shop and pick our photos. We were told they were 10 euro each. He had taken 250 photos! Over the top if you ask me! Anyway, it took us a whole hour to pick the ones we wanted. The photographer kept trying to persuade us to buy more, buy a package he said - 300 euros - I think not. We only wanted 10 and ended up with 18 photos. However, the 10 euro photos are for print outs. If you want digital is it 15 euros per photo. That is what they want you to buy. Easier for them and more money. So be careful if you want photos done. I had to visit the doctor when I was there as I ended up with a lot of mosquito bites and they became infected. The doctor could speak brilliant English, he was clearly very knowledgable and was very friendly. It cost me 130 euros for the consultation and he gave me a prescription of 3 medications which cost me 30 euros. Overall, I do not think this hotel is worth the money they are charging when you compare it to other 5 star hotels in Lara Beach. Although, the hotel does have much to offer. This is the 3rd hotel we have stayed at in Lara Beach. It cost us £2000 more than the other hotels we have stayed at. It is definetly not worth the extra money. We were not able to keep our room on as they said it was full. We tried to explain to them that I was unwell. I ended up with dengue fever from the mosquito bites. However, the staff at reception could not understand what my partner was trying to explain. They just kept telling him to take me to a doctor. We checked out at 12 and they told us they would need to cut the wrist bands off. We asked if we could still use the facilies and they told us we could but gave us a piece of paper to use to show any staff member who ask. My son asked if he could keep the wrist band as he always does this as memorabilia. He was very abruptly told no we cut off. He was almost crying. When she cut it off it went straight into a bin on the reception. It seemed very cruel towards a young boy. There is no room for you to use after check out like other, cheaper hotels in the area. No facilities. All they have is a storage room for luggage. Very poor for the prices they are charging. Overall, I would not come back to this hotel. Some of the staff were rude. It is not worth the extra money. It is not always family friendly and they are not interested in any complaints. We also felt that tourists of other nationalities were treated better.

We spent a holiday at the Delphin Imperial and, overall, the experience was good, although there are several areas that could be improved. The location is one of the hotel’s main advantages. It is situated in Lara, close to Antalya Airport and directly by the sea. It also offers easy access to the beach, shops and other points of interest. The atmosphere is pleasant and lively, with many activities and evening shows. The resort is suitable for both families with children and couples. The staff also helps create a relaxing environment. The rooms are spacious, comfortable and well equipped. They provide everything needed for an enjoyable stay. The hotel offers good value for money, considering the facilities, restaurants and services included. The main aspect that disappointed me was the cleanliness. Although the rooms are attractive, the attention to detail when it comes to cleaning leaves much to be desired. For a hotel of this standard, I expected a higher level of cleanliness, and this affected the overall experience. We would also like to thank Violeta from the Guest Relations team. She was always kind, professional and genuinely willing to help. Her warm attitude, attention to guests and prompt assistance made our stay more enjoyable. She is a true asset to the hotel, and we truly appreciated her support throughout our holiday.

We are very excited to stay in Dephin Imperial as we enjoy our time here a lot! The food and drinks quality is amazing! Everything is really tasty. Im especially amazed with the staff as they are all so friendly and smiling, and will always come to you to ask you need something. The room is super spacious and clean. Hotel offers wide variety of entertainments. We will def come back! The guest relations (Aubrey and Kezia) are super friendly and will explain everything :)
